POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

For what it's worth, I tried disabling hardware gpu scheduling in windows graphics settings as suggested - so far so good. I had one short hitch that I was sure was going to end in tears, but it recovered.

I've been able to play for a couple of hours without a crash now, something that I couldn't do before. Touch wood that it continues. If it's just a placebo effect and the crashing starts again, I will return to the thread and mention it.

This has been working for me too, played for around 8 hours total since disabling hardware GPU scheduling. Perfectly smooth performance in DX12 and there hasn't been a single freeze or crash. I had tried pretty much all the other fixes and was crashing every 2-3 loading screens. I also turned off the nvidia overlay and exited the nvidia app but not sure if that made a difference. Will try re-enabling it later. I'm not ready to call this fixed yet but so far so good.

Its not about this.
I've tried every solution. Some work for a couple hours, others don't work at all. I had the longest period of crash free play after setting exceptions in Windows Defender for all the files. However, only in Vulkan. In dx12 it would crash instantly. And even then, after a couple days it still crashed with Vulkan.

I've just uninstalled both POE and POE2. I am not risking my hardware because GGG is too lazy to do anything about the problem.

I have also reported the game on steam for potentially harming hardware.
I can confirm:

Disabling hardware gpu scheduling in windows graphics settings solves the problem
i've noticed that my crashes from POE ended up being extended to other games (like Resident Evil 8) and that got me worried, so i tried reinstalling my nvidia drivers using DDU and installed them back with NVslimmer. That made the crashing stop for everything including POE, however, when i reboot the pc after a POE play session and try to play again they come back, for every game, so everytime i want to play i have to do this process.

Also i have tried every other fix in this thread to no avail, im on Win 10 with a GTX 1650 Ryzen 3 4100 16gb Ram

I highly doubt those are addressing the issue because the problem also occurs in POE1 and there is no patch for POE1.
NOTHING solves the problem. You only can make it less frequient. Kill two cores for process for game not hanging whole pc. Restrict fps to 60. Down graphic settings. Disabling multitreading, but it will kill fps.
And then you can somewhat play for bigger sessions, but it will hang, open monitor and see how game eat more than 100% of your CPU in every load something. And, as someone checked, before the hang up, game stuck bunch of shader errors, filling the buffer. Its game engine problem, not hardware, not windows (because it happens on every version, win10 too), only developers can do something to stop this.
And remember, you, as consumer don't need to find any workarounds, you payed money, and you deserve to have working game, or get a refund, which they don't allow. If it was free release - whatever. First of all, respect yourself.

It’s not about this.

We will find out in 19 min when the servers go up.
They could easily make the loading screen use only one core so it doesnt hardlock pc. Atleast what would be better for now until they find better solution
