Hard crashing PC locks up

I use Moonlight to stream the game from my gaming machine. The game freezes, but it also drops the connection (I think due to a GPU hang?). When I arrive at the remote location of my gaming rig, the PC is completely frozen ( the mouse doesn't move) when running Path of Exile 2 btw, and I have to restart it forcefully. Ryzen 9990X. I've had some problems with other games, but after returning it back to stock (disabling "AI overclocking" and selecting a different EXPO profile) that fixed it, but not in this game. Turning off GPU scheduling didn't help either. It seems to be a bug in the game hopefully it can be fixed soon, but I was hoping to play this weekend and here I find myself in the forums... Well at least I PAID for the game. Geez, thanks for setting such a great precedence for all future PAID releases of EARLY ACCESS crap.
D3d12 Failed to create resource for texture is the error code I get, after 30 mins to one hour.
Also i noticed the audio gets glitchy before the crash. I dont require a full pc reset, just close the window and can reload from steam.

This is an issue with the 24H2 update and is no way GGG's fault. Microsoft is at fault for putting out a botched update and then taking it off stable builds.
Has anyone noticed if the Twitch Streamers are having freezes and crashes too? They all seem to have been playing non-stop.

Are they on dedicated servers or something?

This is false

People with 23H2 builds are having the same problems, myself included.
Windows 11 (Steam), AMD 5800X3D, RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB, 32BG DDR4 3200, Samsung 980 Pro SSD
Same issue here on 23H2. I have a pretty crazy setup with virtualized Windows 11 stripped down / spyware removed, running on top of a Linux host, with an RTX 3090 GPU, an NVMe SSD, and a USB controller passed directly to the VM.

I'm using a 5950X with 6 cores from one of the two 8-core CCDs directly passed to the VM, so 12 virtual cores.

The game freezes, then the cursor and all of Windows, every few hours.
I hard reset the VM to get it back, sometimes a few times to get the GPU to reset properly from its bugged state, and then it's good for a few hours again.

Nothing in the client log.
This did not happen in either closed beta phase I participated in that I recall.
Testing Vulkan instead of DX12 now, might try removing Steam Overlay also.

Hope this gets high priority.
Yeah I really hope they fix this soon. I think it started after the most recent patch so I don't know what went wrong with the patch
I'm starting to realize that this issue may be related to the new driver of NVIDIA 566.36(for path of exile)

rollback may solve the issue.

Game freezes and locks up the operating system.
I have to hard restart the PC to resolve.

Not worth corrupting my windows install or bricking my PC.
Definately waiting until they sort this one out.
Hi all,
Video: nvidia 4070 Super, driver 566.36
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RAM: 32GB G.Skill DDR5-6000 EXPO
Windows 11: Version 24H2 Build 26100.2454

Since playing PoE2 I had a full system freeze that "resolved" with poweroff pressed untill power CUToFF, and about 10 crashes with the:
[D3D12] Failed to create resource for texture []
