" Except you are merely one individual using anecdotal "evidence" based on your own personal experience (and you may not even remember). EU servers are notorious for connection problems. There are plenty of threads that report about this issue, and I personally have had lag and disconnect problems in the past. Hasn't been a problem for me for a while now, but that mechanic requires not to get hit at all, or not too often. If it weren't as much of a problem as you claim, Original Sin wouldn't be as expensive as it is, despite its extreme rarity, because a single lag spike can ruin your run and you need about 9/10 successful runs to break even, or at least so I've been told last time this was brought up. I personally don't like Sanctum for this very reason, so I don't engage with it. Edit: And I mean no offense when I say this, but it's hard to take you seriously when your account is +10 years old and you have never even six-linked an item or completed Normal Lab in HC. Your gameplay experience is practically non-existent compared to an average league player. " I never delved (no pun intended) too deep in the far endgame because I found it EXTREMELY boring... Yet I have played enough to know that (on the last few years at least) Lag spikes are only a problem on the first couple of days of a league. And I live in Brazil, with a far below average infrastructure. I literally remember only 1 disconnect on all those years for me. So My extrapolation is that it cannot be that common. |

" Why? Long range character with crowd control seems not specially harder in this game. Also from the trials they have shown seems we will have quite some control about how hard we want the trial to be . If you do not care for prizes except the ascendency I take they will not be very hard. First time I did the labyrithn I also died.. but as everyoen else soon I learned the mechanics and I take will be like that in POE2. |

" No, you haven't played enough. That's the point. We are talking about Lab and Sanctum here, not some random campaign and early map runs. We are also not talking about some random lag spikes or disconnects in any of those, but about Trials specifically. It's clear you have never touched Sanctum, so please don't pretend you know better than the people who have. It also would be stupidly easy to disprove your statement with a quick Google search. " If you gonna be an ass,let me counter you with, I have developed software for likely longer than you have LIVED, including some large AAA MMOs. So I know how hard or easy is to solve that type of problem. You have very likely as little experience with networking and server development compared to me as I have on POE compared to you. So you should not pretend to know better what is a problem or not regarding this issue. Disconnects are disconnects and they are NOT technically different depending what map or phase of a game you are. The network and existence system si the SAME. Your argument has zero logic and technical base. If 500 H in campaign cause x% disconnect, the same will project for any other 500h in the future stages in the game. " the original discussion was not about no hits. Was about disconnects and desyncs! The NO hit on POE 2 will be optional challenges. And no it is not false... Only a super super junior developer would make a backend that has a noticeable different failure rate based on the content that is being transmitted.
