A mediocre profane wand is superior to void battery. Even if pob says your dps will be the same, this build is hungry for cast speed to offer a smooth gameplay. And you get a ton of cast speed through the wand. Don't worry about the haunted enchant, think about it like mageblood. Not mandatory though it takes you to the next level :D. It can add 20m dps I believe.
