Man it really just always feels bad being a totem player
IF I have Barkskin at stack 10, which blocks up to 300 damage, and I get hit and the resulting hit is 0 dmg, will that still take away a barkskin?

Additionally, if I block a hit, will that also take away a barkskin?

Love the new changes. A lot of these nerfs were absolutely necessary. GG to you GGG.
Is there a reason for why quiver synth implicits still can't roll %dex despite being mostly used by the dexterity class?

And are there any plans to compensate flat cold damage stackers (not phys conversion) for the Hatred change?

Why on ps5 the league starts one hour afer the site clock?


The league start is equal across all platforms, maybe you just live in a different time zone and the timer is no correctly displayed for you. The League starts at 8 pm UTC/GMT. You have to add or substract hours depending on your time zone.

For example:
In the US (NY) the league starts at: 4pm
In UK the league starts at: 9pm
In France the league starts at: 10pm
In Singapore the league starts at: 4am (27th of July)

These are honestly bad changes. Melee got a buff numerically but they fail to understand that melee will never compete with the ranger or witch class because a ranged attack with the right defenses has the advantage of literally avoiding enemy attacks at a distance. You can buff melee by 1000% damage, it won't make a difference at the end of the day.

And an auction house that they hinted beforehand that they will likely not make core after the league ends. I get the need for balance but more than half the patch notes are just about reducing playerpower. What is there to look forward to if all you do is remove player power & defensivess patch after patch?

The entire patch is straight up a buff to all existing things minus a few obvious builds that deserved a nerf since a long time.
You've clearly missed out on the crucial points of the patch notes if you think it's all just a big nerf. Or you just lack the experience to see the improvement of all the made changes.

Your first forum post is in 2022, my first forum post was in 2013. Do the math on who is lacking experience here.

Here's all the "buffs" according to you:

As if it didn't cost too much mana already before, now we made it cost even MORE mana

Vortex still remains ruined because you have to stop before you can cast it whereas before you can cast it while moving.

We still for some reason don't have onslaught support back in the game and they made sure to remove quality granting attack speed & cast speed from both Onslaught and Culling strike support. Instead, we got Momentum which no one uses.

Summary:
Removed move speed from rage, Hateforge now still unobtainable but way worse.

Determination ruined ("Determination

Modified
New: You and nearby allies gain 1026 additional Armour
Old: You and nearby allies gain 2051 additional Armour"

That's a 49.98% reduction in armor from the aura. That's right, enjoy a 49.98% decrease in defenses from both Determination and Grace, but don't worry the new armor bases make up for it, except they don't, because if you calculate the armor & evasion you had with pre-nerfed determination & grace with the old bases, it ended up being more armor & evasion than with the new bases plus new changed number auras. Therefore, it's a NET nerf as usual.

So in summary, less determinism from gems/auras in terms of getting defenses, just rely on RNG drops from new armor bases instead. Are they going to reduce the mana cost at all to compensate how much defensiveness you lose with the new auras? No. Oh and the monster defenses and offenses? Stays the same. Are the Archnemesis mods still in the game? You bet.

Do Standard players get the same new armor and evasion changes on their existing gear? Of course not, but do we get the same gem changes to the armor and evasion? You bet. This is balance apparently.)

Removed totems but then also ruined banners in the way that you have to place them so banners are the new totems but actually provide less dps and are overall less useful. (No one will place down banners, we play this game to zoom)

Removed item quantity thus giving even more of a reason to play Standard instead of leagues. The change makes sense in terms of having an auction house but the auction house is not definitively in the game yet.

Removed perfectly fine Raider class. Yay, more movement speed and attack speed nerfs.

We still for some reason have transfigured gems in the game even though the Heist alt gems were better in every aspect.

We still can't enchant our gear like we used to before and still can't enchant jewels like we used to with Harvest.

Tainted Armorer Scraps for some reason got lowered from providing 29% to now 20% armor.

We for some reason still can't play the new content in Standard and have to play leagues to experience it. (Won't play leagues, not starting over, and don't have time to)

We still can't zoom out more and the game still doesn't support 32:9

That's awesome, that means you can no longer use Sinvicta's Mettle to weapon switch in order to get Rampage at the start of a map. What an amazing change, I'm sure everyone will appreciate this.

Left-click instant skill is still removed from the game and Call to Arms changes are terrible. There is ZERO justification for why left-click instant skill use was removed from the game given you can do this trick on most ARPG games. They put automation and call to arms in the game under the guise of letting us automate a skill without having to use left click or numlock methods and who would've guessed it, an entire ONE league later they decide we can't automate warcries with the call to arms gem anymore without having to reserve mana. So they ended up making a gem for the sole purpose of not having to use left-click instant skills anymore or having to use the numlock method and now they went full circle and just made it so you can't use left-click for skills anymore AND have to use mana reservation to automate a warcry.

Before, if you were to put steelskin, whithering step, warcries, mines, bone armor etc. on left click, you could run around and set it off automatically. Now you can't do that anymore.

NOW, you have to use another gem socket, have a worse cooldown, AND a much larger mana multiplier to achieve the same thing and NOW, EVEN WORSE a 15% mana reservation just to use a warcry. You would have to be sadistic to change it into this.

Currency exchange is a great addition if it actually stays in the game otherwise the rest of the patch notes are nerf central as usual with minor compensations disguised as "buffs".

Now, let's hear your argument for where all these "buffs" are according to you.
