3.22 Performance

https://poe.ninja/builds/ancestor/character/Ydoum/KEKtain

Using all my attack speed stims (blood rage, rage, focus, vaal haste) causes my framerate to drop from the standard ~200 to under 5 for about a second of burst damage from my totems.

Actually unplayable... and ridiculous if you think about it.
Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.
Got a 1080, 5600x, 32GB Ram, 980 Pro, DX12

The fan behavior just sucks since the integration of the poe2 engine stuff

somebody joins my hideout = fans go up for a second
different phases in a boss fight like Sirus / Maven, stuff gets loaded? = fans go up for a second
enter a map, go back to town = fans go up for a second

I could lock the fans with afterburner, but why does such simple stuff demand so much power of my GPU?
Hello. I also have problems with the game since the beginning of the league. I play an SRS poison necromancer. It's practically impossible to play on large maps with constant lag.

My computer: i5 10600k, GTX 3060 Ti, 16 GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz.

Below I paste the WinMTR connection test

Fps is in the dumpster, normally play at 144 capped but I stutter now and I can't get over 45 after patch. tried the old clear the cache thing and nothing, still garbage lol. Hope to see a fix soon I can't farm a mageblood at 40fps

Be happy that u can play atleast many of us crashes very often that its unplayable.
Just saw a fix in another thread that worked for me.
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3431168

Disabled multi-threading and everything is working without crashes or studdering.

Graphics -> Advanced Settings -> Engine Multi threading -> Disabled

Also using Vulkan and everything turned down low. Will start raising setting but at least currently its been working.

Sadly this engine multithreading bug still plaguing the game they need to figure it out and fix it because it just cause a lot of issues with the game from CPU latency to poor performance overall
Watching a Youtube video uses only 40% of my GPU (3060Ti) alone when I start the game. Well, at least it's not 60% like 2 weeks ago...

People posting so-called solutions, but it hurts other configurations to the brink of damaging hardware. People be careful with what you do.

A solution that GGG can implement is to refert the shader-change and ask people to help with the new engine. In exchange you give volunteers some pixels for free. Everyone will be happy, but somehow this simple idea/solution is to complex to implement otherwise they would have done something like this already.

Do not blame the devs. This (brilliant) idea has to come from management/higher up and I'm 100% sure you they care about you and your hardware.

Dude, task manager is not a tool to evaluate the usage of your GPU.
40%, and 60% are just random numbers.
On Probation Any%
did you guys notice a huge improvement on performance with this last patch? my cpu temperature are back to normal and the stuttering is finally stopped too
