Still not fixed for me either. Only way I can play is to disable engine multithreading but it's a sh*t solution because it also makes the game perform worse then before the patch. Someone also posted how to do c-state 0 your cpu in the bios. This is also a sh*t solution because it cooks your cpu.
I stopped playing about 30 minutes into Act1 and will not be playing the game until this is fixed or until I buy a new PC. | |

You either have to disable multi-threading which now seems to be completely broken or play without it sacrificing FPS and putting more strain on CPU.

well, ggg you still didn’t understand the scale of the tragedy that happened after the july 24 patch, maybe now you will finally understand and rollback the game

Still, its wasting resources but its better than cutting your fps in half by turning off multithreading in game or playing with cpu spikes. I'd advise to sit it out until it's fixed.
Taking into consideration it's summer and if you don't have some liquid cooling your temps will be higher already, and that engine patch made them higher on top of that and the multi-threading is not working properly, I mean god, you have no clue what strain and damage you are causing to your system. Be warned. Stupid PoE2 Particle System Patch...

I have the same problem. I have an old PC (GTX970, i76700, 60hz screen), but the way it is now I'm at 30fps. Especially when my EA explodes. In the last league I was constantly at 60fps. Anyone have any tips? Which Vsync should I use or triple buffering on?

" We are talking about cpu related game stutters and cpu lag spikes. For your problem maybe Turn off vsync, and cap your fps in game options to for example 65-70, over that is just waste if you have 60hz monitor. What might be happening in your case is... If you have vsync on and game goes under ''in your case 60hz-60fps'' then it might cut to 30fps so half the refresh rate. For the cpu spikes/stutters (if you have them) there is no clear fix until ggg finally does something about broken multithreading in their game. Multithreading in poe is just broken at least on older cpu's, but we have seen some ppl with ryzen's 5xxx that have the same issue (constant cpu spikes to 20-300ms etc).
