Is it mean that devs have programed something that make no sens and is not useble? If I'm dying from single hit even heaving skill Steelskin (70% dmg protection) + 2000def + 25% dmg reduction, 80% resistances, 100% ailments protection - it means that SINGLE HIT dmg that I'm receiving from specific mob will be about... 30k !!!! And it is not even a dps but single hit! By Trying to convert it on dps it would be ~ 100(times on a sec)*30000 = 3.000.000 dps!!!!!! WTF? Are you serious????? Where is the sens to place an enemy with that dmg on the map where even map boss does not have that dmg????? 3000000 dps from syndicate member on lvl 11 map????? Its madness. It is look a like that those exiles were programed especialy for this specific reason. To block player from the progress. Steelskin blocks up to 70% of incoming damage, but not more than amount based on this gem lvl (lvl 20 = 2209 dmg), 2000 defence can't block more than 400 dmg (200 dmg from 400 hit for example). You probably have cast on damage taken with steelskin, so if hit 1shot you Steelskin not even activate. With your 4k hp, arm and (25% dmg reduction? - I'm not sure that you actually have it) you will get 1shot from 6k phys hit. |

It's also worth pointing out that 1500 life + 2500 shield is just 1500 life with regards to chaos damage, which many different enemies are capable of dealing now. So even if you ALSO have around 80% chaos resistance, which I very much doubt, you're absolutely going to be oneshot by any blue packs dealing chaos damage.
You need something like a Shavs to protect you from chaos damage (I didn't bother checking your characters but I'm assuming you aren't wearing one if you only have 2500 shield). |

Because a Shavs will give you ~320 if it's mediocre rolls, plus over 200 on discipline and ~230 on your Memory Vault. Whatever belt you're using needs to have 120 as an absolute bare minimum to be usable, which is not remotely difficult or expensive to obtain. I'm assuming you took Sanctuary of Thought in your Heirophant nodes (and if you didn't, reroll your points and do that because why else would you even play Heirophant), which means your mana is giving you another 500 base shield. You have to have at least 250 INT if you started as a templar and didn't build toward any life nodes, which is going to give you a natural 50% shield boost for you doing nothing. That already comes to over 1900 shield without a SINGLE passive skill invested into energy shield nodes, and it's also assuming you have zero ES modifiers on any other gear. It is difficult to sympathize with your complaints about being oneshot when you haven't come close to what most players would see as the bare minimum of defensive investment. Expecting to NOT be oneshot with zero defensive nodes in the passive tree is beyond unreasonable. |

" Probably it's phys reduction that you get from your arm for average hits, but actual % of phys reduction based on hit, as I said 2000 arm can't block more than 400 dmg, so if your steelskin on cd and you have 4k hp any physical hit with 4.4k dmg will 1shot you. |
