What Happened with Items
Its sadge to see that you still not get the point, or you just avoid/refuse to see it subjectively(which is a kind of arrogance).
The biggest problem now is that, what you GGG aim to do and doing,is not satisfying but against player's need. Poe is a video game,it should cater to player's mental need,or in another word, player's desire. I think these desires in poe can be summarized as: desire to explore, try new skill/play style(normal sc players); desire to defeat bosses in smooth growth process(ssf hc players); and desire to earn money/currencies(team players). You GGG had killed player's desire to explore by nerfing all support gem and fun play style and applying huge buffs to monsters through 3.15 to 3.19, which made most players have to choose the few meta skill so that they were able to reach the endgame. Wednesday I saw mathil1 chased by two one hit kill/leap slam/Archnemesis mods/essence tiger. It took him 10-15minutes and 5 doors death to kill the two monsters, just dropped a few essences in rewards. I think everyone will have the sh*t and f**k words in their mind in this circumstances. Great balance GGG. Now in 3.19, you raise the cost and remove useful crafts in Harvest, then the smooth growth for SSF player is gone. That makes players, even the top ssf hc players like ben_(lightee) and steelmage, say that poe is not a fun game anymore. They don't know what to do to get stronger. And finally the loot, the desire to earn money/currencies. Diablolike games are always about loot, and it should always be positive response. Archnemesis mods makes monsters too strong and the loot too random, and players can't make the choice. That causes the loot often to be negative response and a few times to be the so called 'surprise'. But it's not real surprise. Real surprise is one divine/mirror dropped by normal monsters, not the loot after a 15 minutes struggle which is a 'should be'. The loot changes won't make players FEEL good even after the latest few days buff in compare with old versions. All in all, you GGG really should look deeply into your strategy/philosophy for future(includes poe2). Go make some questionnaire among players and stop to be trapped in company issues and personal thoughts.
hard pass on this league.
One huge advice of the actual gamer-community: DO NOT COME UP WITH SHIT WITHOUT INVOLVING YOUR DAILY PLAYERS! why would you make such a change in the game without noticing the players? As you can see roughly half of your players are gone and not only that TOP 10 poe streamers, just quit the season. Is this not enough to wake up? Less people means less money for GGG, less MTX. I will stay logged out until this mess is taken care of. GL to the rest of the exiles.
You know the problem? when i read that i though : fuck this will never work out without a pity sistem.

It's actually too depressing to even forum warrior about the game anymore let alone play through this nerfed PvE snoozefest.
I guess it is really the nail in the coffin this time.
its so much fun to do delirium up to 5-6 rewards and get 3-5 splinter ...
its so much fun to fight the "rewarding" 4mod rares and get 80 blacksmith wetstones its so much fun to get a bunch of yellow items on map boss that only are worth it if u chaos recipe them... BRING BACK LOOT = BRING BACK FUN maps are a fucking joke regardless of your little buffs... the more u invest into maps the more u lose... dont know where u guys have 7% difference ... u can ask everyone that plays on a higher level like SAP ... the difference in loot starts at around 60% less loot and goes upwards the invest line to 90% less loot... and dont quote on "i saw groups with 50 divines from a single mob" that group abused the data to scan for special affix rare mob and fished like 100' maps for a single one... the avg player with alch/vaal maps+scarabs will never see this .. worst league since i play in 2017...
No mention of minion related issues, crafting and the like. Everything that works or is fun is constantly being removed from the game, making it harder and frustrating ... I quit for now ... I feel the game is no longer worth my time

This hurts in so many ways. Been playing since Torment League, and PoE has never been in such bad shape.
But if it's your vision of the game, then I can't and won't play this game anymore. Maybe it will change your vision if the number of players keeps dropping drastically. I'm so disappointed holy... |

Bull-.
We aren't here to play a full day to meet that one Innocence touched monster that maybe drops a stack of Divines. Hell, most of us aren't going to meet it. The reality is, we're getting next to nothing, no Alchemy orbs, no Vaal orbs, no maps, no divination cards, NOT A SCRAP of loot from non Arch Nemesis monsters. When I, solo player with no Quant or Rarity, played Alva missions last league I got a few alchs, some chaos and vaal orbs nearly guaranteed for an Alva mission map. Now I do an Alva mission, I get loot only from the Flesh merchant if I manage to find him now that any rare mob in the Incursion can take 4 times longer to kill. I get no other noteworthy loot. The Incursion modded items are now completely worthless because of the "wise" decision to gut Harvest. Blight loot is nerfed, Beyond loot is nonexistant and Ritual, Delirium and Breach drop so little it's pointless to engage with the content. "Our plan is not to gut the rewards out from Path of Exile. We play the game too and enjoy finding heaps of valuable items." Again, BULL, You've already gutted the rewards out of the game to put them in the loot Pinata that are Arch Nemesis monsters. Those same Arch Nemesis monsters you've had to nerf and re-nerf almost every patch since 3.18 launch. Do you not see the 80 pages of overwhelmingly calling you out? Do you even glance at the Forums after you make your posts? You had a great company and an amazing game, some of the best devs in the genre. Now you have some of a company, a game with the trust of playerbase evaporating and possibly the same great devs that have all been muzzled by the "Vision" and the plans for POE2. |
