You want slower game and create random badass rares what we need to hit ~ 5 min for 0 rewards and we finaly can go map boss what we can deleted in 5 sec ofc 0 rewards ... pff nice balance.

Not a bad idea what you say but need to cap rare mobs max stats what no more higher than map boss because why boss is a boss if weaker than rare mobs. That's it the problem fix it and we are agre you opinion.

I've been doing t16 with exp. and legion. And before that i did ritual and beyond. And, let me tell you, the loot was perfectly FINE. Yeah, there's loot condensed in AN mods, but so what? If you clear your map, what the fuck does it matter if the rares drop the loot or a random white mob does? It's the same. Now, if you want to complain about third party tools scanning for AN mods, thats okay, but that's not GGG's fault, im sure they'll work something out, but you can't be mad at a company because players are cheating. If they don't do anything for a couple of leagues, yeah, go ahead and complain. Else, Just play the game instead of whining like a redditor.

I see plenty of people willing to reason and who made very sound critiques of the significant flaws in what GGG did.

Mistakes happen, true. BUT there are many systems and processes which exist for the purpose of preventing mistakes. GGG willfully chose to either NOT use or disregard those systems. It's like if a pilot skipped the pre-flight checklist and a problem ensued. Sure, mistakes happen; but that's why you have the checklist to reduce problems.
GGG skipped over the basics of software development and testing; which by now are very well known and documented.

Philosophy Three: There shouldn't be a large gap between the difficulty and rewards of league content and base game content

Monsters added in leagues are more difficult to kill and drop better items than regular ones encountered in the base game. When those leagues become core, these properties carry across, creating two tiers of content, with one far more rewarding than the other.

We feel it's good for league content to be harder than the base game, and therefore more rewarding. But the difference should be approximately twice as rewarding. If the gap were any larger, then it would be less efficient to kill regular monsters and a player should spend all of their time focusing on repeating a small subset of content.

With those philosophies established, let's have a look at some changes we made in 3.19, and then examine what went wrong and what we're doing to address it in the future.


I am sincerely suprised to read this, because it's incredibly apparent that this is not even remotely close to what the game is.
The worst offender to this philosophy is obviously metamorph.
The monsters jumping out of there are a death sentence for anything that is not a meta-build and even those struggle to kill a lot of the time.
The rewards are less than what you would get from simply running another map, even with the reduced drops.
You have a "higher risk rewards less loot" situation with a lot of the current content.
And I just can't get over this "Victory is its own reward" taunt. It makes all of the current imbalance feel VERY intentional.

I'd like to point out that the atlas passive tree is a mechanic that specifically allows you to repeat the same content over and over. It's called grinding. The name of your company implies that you understand that and that it's something people enjoy IF the grind is rewarding. And only if that grind is rewarding. Just to be clear, I mean loot. Good loot.

People will now learn to run past everything, just as they run past mobs during campaign, and chase the loot goblin.

Run past league content, regular content, just search the one rewarding solaris-touched mob and skip everything else if you gear magic find.
You have my full support! I understand people's fuckups. The stress/workload around leaguestarts surely doesn't help. I am very patient and for every major issue that arises you guys get things back on track consistently quickly. I have had fun every day of league as usual. I can't thank you enough for all this excitement over the years and every year to come! Thank you for making me care about beyond for once as Scourge was(next to Delve/Synthesis) my favorite league. Endless love to you all

Reading comments here during the last few days makes me sad because it shows how toxic the PoE community has become. So many people are acting like spoiled little kids throwing a tantrum because their mommy didn't buy them that ice cream that they wanted.
If you are constantly posting "I'm never playing this game again" etc etc without any sort of constructive criticism then please you stay true to your word and f off. The community neither needs you or wants you.
