32:9 ultra wide support gone!

I don't really ever complain about things but this is one where I think it makes sense to say something. 5120x1440 user here and I made it to level 2 before I shut the game off, thought I would pop on and see a reply on here that they are working on a patch...not the case I guess.

Oh, well...I'll be back when this is resolved, patched, whatever.
Hello.

This game is one of the reasons i decided to get a ultra wide monitor in the first place and hope that whatever they are changing results in proper screen support again soon enough.

Play on 3840x1600 21.9 & my black bars are pretty much the size of my finger but it still bugs me out after great support for years.
Steam: teemu92
I quit in Annoyance before the mud flats due to looking at massive black bars on my G9.

I hope GGG will reconsider this. But of course, it is their game, but the UW feature has worked for a long time and made PoE look extra beautiful, and this fix makes the game look dated and not for me.

Do you see my supporter badges GGG? Do you want me to stop adding to those?

Give me back my 32:9
I bought a supporter pack prior to this league because I was hyped for the league and finally ultrawide QOL, bringing the UI back towards the center. Obviously GGG is off this weekend, but if this isn't something that's not on the list to be resolved come their first "patch post" this week, I'm going to refund that pack and uninstall. This is ludicrous.
F*CK You GGG 3.18 was the last leauge for me... that blackbars are a no go!
btw Diablo is 32:9 supportet....

I copied my reddit post here. As these are the OFFICIAL forums and we show not have to rely on going hunting on reddit to find out info on the game.

This is supposed to be playable for me? I've been with poe since closed beta and not once have I ever had reason to even consider uninstalling the game. THIS however is a game breaker for me. I spent hours trying to work out what was wrong with my screen, I rebooted, checked cables. updated drivers, I called my 'computer guy' who went through it all with me again, This cost me hard cash as it was an out of hours support call. I keep looking and asking around.. Then I find this thread... pretty much telling me that after all these years of being a loyal supporter of GGG that they in turn can not support their players.

I have spent thousands (literaly thousands) on supporter packs, but no more. Until this is fixed I will neither play the game or buy another pack. I suspect I will not be the only o ne. I'm just glad that I did not buy my new packs this morning as I intended, now I will not be.

Fix OUR game GGG. Over the years its the players who have supported it, and yet now we get punished for having a gigawide screen that is getting more common by the day.
PSA: EU users should contact a lawyer versed in the new 2022 EU consumer protection regulations. You have a right to a full and complete refund. All your purchases are seen as a running contract and GGG has changed the terms of the contract.

GGG should as well, because I count as much money here as you refunded in the whole of 2020.

That's the crazy thing to me. It pretty much ONLY affects people with too much money to spend anyway. Look at the supporter titles, hell look at mine. Why else do you have 1k+ €/$ monitors. To piss off the ones with the money has got to be the most bush league maneuver in the history of this company.
I have to agree, there's no way I'm playing with 1/3 of my screen black bars LMAO...

5120x1440, I thought my settings were borked but didn't want to relog because of the queue. Now that I know it's part of the patch I'm uninstalling until they change it.

People who are high spenders, dropping over $1,000 on a monitor and god knows how much in their Micros and they just shit all over us.

RIP GgG
