32:9 ultra wide support gone!

The Problem will fixt the next days? i will stop playing poe it will not fixed the game looks kreapy with these black bars

10 years playing POE but I'm done with this game if they don't revert this change. Deliberately adding black bars to a game in 2022 is absolutely bush league nonsense. Totally unacceptable.

So after 10 years of flawless support for basically every resolution, including basically out-of-the-box-support for every resolution you guys decide nope, its 2022 now, we are not supporting ultrawide beyond 21:9 anymore?

I personally play on 3440x1440, but unless this change is straight up reverted I will not spend a single penny on this game anymore. PoE until now was one of the very few games which worked flawlessly in wider resolution, even in the extreme wide resolution, even the UI scaled perfectly with it (many games have ultra/extreme wide support for the game itself, but the UI is fixed at 16:9 for example, but PoE did not have this "issue"), but now you decide you want to go back to the stone age, huh?

why stop even there? 4:3 is the true gaming resolution, 1024x768, or 5:4, 1280x1024, why not go back there and support only this, huh?

It worked fine for a long time according to other players who had UW monitors years before me, now you brick it and tick-off ultrawide users!
I got my Neo G9 in June, and it worked amazing with POE... now half the screen is black bars. UNACCEPTABLE!

I was going to purchase a supporter pack, but not now...

it Worked fine before. Worst change ever! Why do you remove this. just bann all people with widescreen and Ultrawide screen and you will have same result!

Adding in my support to revert this and bring back 32:9 support immediately.

I have spent quite a bit on this game since closed beta, and was excited to see what new MTXs we get from the next vault pass, and usual mystery boxes. No more. I will not spend a penny further until this is addressed.

Please GGG, roll it back.

100% in the boat with you. not a single penny from me anymore unless this change is straight up reverted to whatever it was before 3.19.

There is a word in germany for this whole thing, trying to improve it and only making it worse - "verschlimmbessern". this change is 100% that.

an absolute non-issue was declared an issue and by "fixing" it, everything is just worse than it was before.

no way! i literally just bought a 32:9 monitor a couple days ago and this just happened to one of my favorite game? cmon :(

Another tick in the revert category, killed all hype I had going into this league. Some of us are just extremely bothered by any amount of letter boxing.

I don't see who was actually complaining about this, but you should know that very few companies have had out the box UW support, and the UW community frequently has to hack together fixes to force games to work with it so they can play them, and you had previously been one of the golden child's when it came to it even if it was un-intentional. Hopefully enough people can make a difference but who knows.

Well that effing kills the game for me....
