Character Balance in Path of Exile: Lake of Kalandra
Problem:
The difference between low budget build is too high, items have mutch higher effect on overall strengh of the build than passive skill tree. The game had to be balanced around high budget builds, making difference betveen loW to high budged even 100 times(600k base build vs 60mil minmax build). This makes the game extremely hard to balance, while keeping power of most players low. Solution: Reduce damage numbers on items, buff passive skill damage numbers. |

Wow. RIP minions in SSF. I know you want build diversity but damn, SSFers are so screwed with this patch. Did you ever think that maybe minion builds are so popular is because some people LIKE not having to rely on impossible-to-get-in-SSF items?
Sheesh. Still can't believe GGG keeps catering to the .1% of players who think the current end game is not hard enough. |

guys, i really think that you need a whole revamp of your balancing staff, the whole game balance gets worse every league.

its kinda getting sader with every expansion to see how players in this day and age dont want to have any challange in they games. like we want easy game that we can get to end game bosses in first day with white items and dont need to do jack shit on they part to learn about game. ohh and give mageblood and mirror to every player at the lvl 1

After so long and so many patches, even if the last league didn't had any nerf, why on earth does the PR tactic is to show Nerf first... I just can't understand.
This times, was it to counter the leak and the trolling in the translation or smth? They could also instead increase what's obviously not working. I start to think that they obviously want us to farm more and tbh i have no problem with that if they did fix their trading system. Right now its contest of who can spam each other the most until you get trade and forgot who you spamed in the first place, then you put overlay to help and it goes on. Also fix melee, i played so many different build and tbf Necro overpowerd, like bone armor 25 block with one node? wtf i considered making a melee necro at some point. Nightblade dmg, aegis shield, ect i do get why they need to nerf. Some stuff are just too good to allow other options, im just sad they miss the shoot or don't communicate properly. Great game , great depth but still poor balancing. Playing HC is cool as well but it also show that some mechanics are also unbalanced and going out of nowhere. Build diversity is low, competitive build for real endgame are counted on one hand. Fix trading. Fix scammer, i lost 10ex like this because i was playing in the evening actually enjoying my overpowered meta forbidden necro skeleton mage. And ofc when you play too late and start sleeping its when you loot ans sell and goodbye. Fortunately im good enough at the game that it didn't hurt too much my game wallet but pls it just feels wrong. Fix Harvest, why on earth do i have to go to discord give my item to strangers ? Remove it or better, bring it back properly, but changes this abomination. Fix melee mechanical inferiority to well... anything else. Fix Archnemesis random potatoes, honestly why do you want me to run around some crystal that dont despawn, why? I mean why? xD There is more things , but hey its just a game. |
