3.16 is disappointing, more powercreep for the wealthy and no toning down of OP content

i was able to afford headhunters in many leagues

and i dont understand why ggg is balancing the game around egoists that mock the poor/mediocre/casual players because they dont have the knowledge to achieve everything

im playing since closed beta and i often feel lost even tho i managed to get 36/40 in a few leagues yet a friend of mine tells me what the hell am i doing
because the league is allready halfway over and im still surfing around 60% completion of atlas (for example) or still having garbage gear
because i was trying to grind gear for myself instead of grinding the currency to buy it off of a player

i mean is it grinding "GEAR" games or is it grinding "currency" games?

More currency drops would tip the balance in favour of actually using said currency on gear and maybe it could be a grinding gear game. But right now its totally grinding currency game.

It wouldn't, they could increase chaos drops by 100x for example and it would barely touch crafting because its so unbelievably hard to craft a good item with base currency.

For currency drops to have an impact on personal crafting they'd have to extend them to essences, fossils, resonators as well as significantly higher droprates for conqueror exalts etc.

Of course the Irony of that is its a roundabout way of reintroducing harvest, more pulls of the slot machine with weighted odds.
While i do think that people who play alot should be rewarded better/faster, i also do think that the situation has gotten completely out of hand. The discrepancy between efficient and "non efficient" players has gotten way too big.

Loot on the ground is so bad and worthless, that people have to jump to other "more efficient" farming methods aka endless tower mf grinding. No need to kill sirus/conquerors or to farm red maps. There isnt really anything to get there.

And even then its mostly about div cards or nemesis 3 currency drops. Right now poe is failing even the most basics of arpg: Finding good items. Crafting also isnt really an option anymore.

The new chase uniques are just here to highlight these issues even further. Especially rare items will just get bought out by the elite and fixed to a certain price. Unless the stars align and you magically find one of those items, you might aswell never be able to afford them.

This sort of thing is a big problem all across the game, nothing is allowed to be deterministic, everything has to have a chance to drop and then a chance to work, ggg should work towards increasing success rates at the cost of lowering drop rates but I don't think they even understand the games flaws anymore they only ever seem to make them worse.
Power creep needs to be 100% restored.

All the damage gem nerfs are absolutely horrific. All the mods taken away from crafting over the years also far beyond inexcusable.

I want the game reverted to 3.8, in every single respect. None more than an extreme buff to player power/power creep.

WE WANT POWER CREEP. POWER CREEP IS WHY SOME OF US EVEN PLAY THIS GAME, IT'S THE WHOLE DAMN POINT.

For some builds... most every build I like to play has been nerfed beyon being usable. Gained ZERO damage,, lost millions of DPS.

I have NEVER, EVER EVER played anything so weak as 10m DPS.... 10m DPS now takes a STAGGERING amount of exalts to achieve for most builds.

That's not okay or fair, what the fuck is that? They can find the same shit, equally, but they play longer hours so they will find more.

Playing more time is a choice, they should NOT be rewarded [Removed by Support]. That's not a valid reason.

I honestly think exalt drops should be deterministic, if you play 3 hours and don't find an exalt, your drop chance needs to hit 100%.

Some people ONLY do alc and go, and GGG has killed off most of my friends through currency nerfs.

Roughly 7 million dps is what you need to do everything exept the last waves of simulacrum and ravaged blight maps extremly smooth. You can do everything exept those two things with 3 million if you are tanky or know how to dodge.

This is whining at such a high level like seriously... "omg I cant one tab everything in the game anymore" "I need to actually know how boss fights work and dodge things"...
