3.16 is disappointing, more powercreep for the wealthy and no toning down of OP content

When that is out there the only response is git gud.

You mean git meta. An extremely small number of builds will be strong enough to handle the damage being flung your way there, meaning you need something that is powerful enough to kill the waves before they have a chance to touch you. That or hope you get a good simulacrum map where you can funnel a couple enemies into a corner and whittle away at them from there.

SSFHC doesn't mean you can't run a crazy powerful build.

You're welcome to see how far you can push simulacrum with a summoner, but judging from what I've been reading in /global 6666 (summoner channel) where important minions tend to get slaughtered by wave 27, I'm not willing to risk losing my AG or my spectres to try it, especially since desecrate is worse in 3.16.

Minions too easy cheesy for you? Go strike melee instead.

or.... get an aurabot partner :-)

PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.

Well re: Perandus league going away, it really was a dead league mechanic with no real purpose anymore. Ritual was essentially Perandus 2.0, there's not much purpose to having both exist at the same time. I liked Perandus while it was going on, but if GGG wants to phase out some of the obsolete leagues (like they said they would start doing at Exilecon) it's probably best for the game.

Also on the chopping block as of Exilecon are Tormented Spirits, Prophecies, and Talismans, so I'd expect those to be the next ones out.

They could turn Talismans into regular high level amulet bases

These leagues that are considered doomed by GGG are doomed because GGG is allowing it to be. It's like Bungie vaulting content in Destiny 2 and claiming it's because players aren't engaging with it, whilst ignoring the fact they let that content become unrewarding by getting rid of powerful rewards.

Talisman wouldn't be considered a league destined for the chopping block if GGG kept the "smart loot" mechanic on them. Seriously, people loved talismans for the very brief period of time when they dropped with respectable stats, up until they turned it off upon implementing tainted oils. This problem can be remedied by the devs if they bothered, but instead want to take the easy way out.

The same goes for prophecy and torment. Update the both of them. Add new prophecies, buff some of the older ones, make people want to talk to Navali. Make tormented spirits more rewarding, make them less of a pain in the ass to corral towards monsters (ex. If near white and blue mobs, path towards and through them regardless of where you are), increase their time alive, update their rewards to drop newer stuff. Add a tormented prophet for prophecies, tormented diviner for div cards, tormented alchemist for catalysts, etc.

And of course, this applies to Perandus league. Make encounters much rarer, but improve the odds of Cadiro selling powerful items more commonplace. Give him smart loot for rare deals. Make him offer more than one item, but only allow you to buy one item in his selection.

Gotta love GGG... Mageblood. Another item for the RMT folks. Gotta keep your "Paying" customers happy.

Been playing solo since beta... Best item to ever drop has been a shav. wrap your head around that while some folks own a HH two weeks into every league.

At least I know where I fit into the scheme of things...

NS
Actually... When you think about it. Mageblood is a reward for top end players. Players that own HH and Mageblood will be folks with a wall of supporter packs.

Most folks that can afford supporter packs can afford those high end items.

Poor solo scrubs are just scrubs...

All good.

OH NO POWERCREEP AND BUT I STILL CANT HANDLE IT SO IT NEEDS TONING DOWN... what?
I'm usually working like everyone, but i was able to play this league full-time. As you can see i'm playing PoE for over 8 years now.

Last time i complained about theese "2 week HH people" it was before i was able to play a full-time league and understand betrayal mechanics and used TFT.

I remember the call was from steelmage's stream saying " Be efficient " and all that mindset behind it..

PoE is a grind game, and when you think you grind watch the pace of Top-end PoE player, i am, and i think most of us, can't sustain such a pace for long period of hours. But they do. And Zizaran's said : " I don't care about that single mob alone, i prefer to spin the wheel of RNG by doing more map/hr than kill every mob in a map"

Right now i'm doing consistently over 30ex/day (maybe 6-8hr of efficient playing per day), playing the game, juicing the map. Nothing crazy. But its just that my TR champ is so faceroll that im much more efficient. Roll Map Ahead, Dont care about mods, and play FAST. Dump in Quad, go again.

I'm far away from mageblood still, but it could be reachable if i don't drop it before.

The missconfusion comes from player who doesn't have the full spectrum.. RMT is a thing in PoE, but can you seriously think about someone throwing constantly 300$ every league? Do you think thats the majority of players? Neah.. Just play the game learn to be efficient.

I dont say "git gud" i say, learn to be efficient..

300$ is less working hours than you're describing (at least where I'm living at), so if I want to be 'efficient' I work for real wages and go rmt.
