Followed the leapfrog strat video for obtaining watchstones & haven't had any problems at all with map drops. Instead of doing like the video suggests and always running highest level maps I just got around 60% completion bonus from white/lower tier yellow maps first and made sure to run any uncompleted map as long as it didn't have a chance of spawning a conqueror in the wrong region. I think most of these problems are people trying to get into red maps too quickly which doesn't make much sense to me unless it's day 1-2 in the league.

I'm behaving "normally" for myself, and haven't noticed any changes. Haven't gotten any maps from Ultimatum though, and usually the league mechanism is a bonus to map sustain.

Same for me...i went 40 challenges last 3 Leagues and yesterday i gave up allready.
Took me ages to yellow maps, everything is nerfed, ultimatium is so fkn boring. The new content Boss is so random... what is this? I fought for you GGG, even for Heist, it was great what you did there and today??? Take my middlef*****r... |

Even tho I got kinda comfortably to t16 maps, it was still noticeable different from Ritual. Now on my way to Awakener 8 I can barely get maps for the regions I need to spawn my conquerors. Right now I'm out of Haewark maps and need 2 more for my Conqueror. Gotta run other regions and hope for a Haewark drop.
That's not how it was in Ritual, I was swimming in T14-16 maps once I got there. Also I didn't drop maps from Ultimata in 1 or 2 days. For me it's still ok, as long as I don't regress in maps overall, but it's not a good feeling. Last edited by Sadaukar#2191 on Apr 25, 2021, 2:26:05 PM

Red maps, 4 stones from full atlas - mapping is absolutely miserable. Alch / chiseling all.
I find I'm having to buy a lot for the region I am in and sustain is pretty low. Like, I can stomach most of the changes as I just generally like to play but map sustain seems really bad, like worse league that I remember since metamorph. It's pretty miserable. Maps shouldn't be gated they are the tool to play. By making maps scarce you make it impossible to target farm and remove a lot of strategy from the game. It's costing like 13-15c for a red map on trade. I get that Ex is high but it's not feeling good right now, having to buy a lot of maps. I hardly see any elder / shaper maps. I think I have 3 shaper, 1 elder right now. Just make goddamn maps accessible, do they not want us to play the game? |
