Raise Spectre Gem did NOT deserve your shortsightedness
GGG nerfed specs the wrong way. It will not effect the top end. Casuals and newer players are getting the hit.
GGG did a linear fix and they needed to do a top down fix. Flat out lazy. NS " |

Last league... I ran around with a tabula for almost 4 weeks... This was painful because the class is so gear dependent now.
This league im going to run around in a tabula for 4-6 weeks with. LESS DPS. LESS HEALTH. WEAKER SPECS FROM NERFS. HARDER CONTENT. Hmmmm... this may be a bit more frustrating this league. So no effect on casuals huh? How can folks be this frigging thick? basic math no longer taught in school? Wow... NS " |

I don't think it's intellectually honest to argue that spectres outside of a small pool were broken in 3.12, or certainly to argue that they'll still be broken in 3.13 with the -4 level nerf. It's a bit of a misunderstanding regarding why certain spectres were broken and what could be done to fix them that would allow other spectres to remain viable.
Unfortunately GGG has a similar misunderstanding, apparently. I don't want builds to trivialize the game and I've only played 2 builds that even use spectres, but I do think it's sad that options like lunaris concubines or fire/ice ribbons which used to be viable just aren't at all capable of endgame content anymore. I would have hoped a spectre change would have sought to increase variety (by nerfing the stupid strong ones) rather than remove so many options. We're all in this leaky boat together, people. What was broken before, is still broken.
For players with high end gear, the only difference is that it takes 3-5 seconds to kill a map boss, instead of 1-2. Map clear remains the same. For casual players, it means being stuck in white maps for a lot longer then before. |

Greetings,
As kay said, DPS will not be an issue. It will be survivability and the raising back of the spectre will make the playstyle not fun. I have been playing minions since Blight. Minions will still be strong... with the proper investment. As it was said, the "expert" level players will not suffer. It will be the more "casual" player that will suffer. BTW, the life issue with the spectres can be resolved with minions life/life regen nodes on trees and clusters....A lot of it. Thank you P.S.: I am convinced GGG did not invest much time and just took the shortest path to fix the overpowered spectres as they do often. P.P.S.: BTW guys, GGG does not pay attention to this msg board. they pay attention only to Reddit and it was said no change will be done to spectres. |

" Well dont play spectres then. Problem solved. Its not like Necro was locked into spectres is it? Go skellies, golems (yes carrion golem is still fine), SRS, Zombies - combine whatever go minion instablity or not - it will be fine. Also VD/DD spellslinger, Cremation Archmage and the like still exist. Very beginner friendly, no gg gear needed to clear red maps and also dont need a lot of clicking. Lots of options available and they are all good. For someone demanding others to use their brains you come across kinda one track minded. Just saying. |

" I played Kays Build with Syndicate Operatives Spectres in the flashback event. With the hard nerfes to spectres, I thought its time for Ranger class this time but I found this guide: "Navandis [ POE 3.13 ] Phantasm Necromancer Build Guide - Path of Exile: Ritual" https://youtu.be/4soOGMb4tYQ?t=2 And I will pick this as my League Starter, its pretty Newplayer friendly too and just uses the Carnage Chieftains as a Supporter, so I assume with buffed Skelly Mages its even stronger than before.
