Sad as it is to say but spectres are pretty much reliant on physical to elemental conversion to be competitive with carrion golem.
Crabs are somewhat competitive with carrions redemption sentries are pretty much worthless. really the only good spectre to use offensively are the syndicate operatives .. which means they will be killed off next league. |

The patch notes will be watched closely. To not make spectres strictly inferior to other minion types I'll suggest the following:
a) Revert the changes from 3.13 b) return the gem mechanic to bind spectres' level to the raised corpse b) was good because the gem worked fundamentally different than other minions. Now the gem does not work like others AND its QoL and overall power lacks behind. CHANGE THIS! | |
Summoners and minions are absolutely broken, and have been for years.
The gameplay and easy of play is ridiculously easy compared to other playstyles. Too rewarding for too low investment. If it was up to me, NERF necromancers. NERF minions, NERF NERF NERF !!!! You want to play Path of Exile, play something active and skilled that actually requires a brain. I cannot respect these kind of posts. Affliction and Necropolis worst leagues ever. The current game design has slowly turned this game into a loot-shower fest, chase uniques are way too available; and obtaining chase items through stacked decks simply isn't fun. Rework stacked decks needed.

As far as nerfs go, since the rework, 90% of summoner changes were nerfs, and with a few exceptions, like syndicate operatives played with spell echo to trigger multiple attacks, are rushed and idiotic changes. Zombies too op in blight, so people stack str and afk on the pump? NERF Cluster jewels are a clustef**k And every build is stacking nodes, and most importantly auras? Nerf %minion dmg and base level Harvest stand in place and nuke the pack encounter, ritual ditto, so how about we nerf everything necromancer related until the witch forums don't have a single necro build on first page? Gggcent got a splinter in their eye with any kind of minions, because you don't have to farm a headhunter and play bv to walking simulator through the whole map, so instead of thinking about things and giving a rational nerf, they nuke the whole ascendancy from orbit. Sad about the whole thing, since poe offered the most options for necromancers, but as long as they are actively screwing over the whole class, things will not change for the better. The problem isn't the ascendancy, it is the seizure inducing oneshot ripfest gameplay that makes standing back while minions clear and tank eveything the appealing alternative over anything else. Strange though how literally no one gave a flying f about necromancers before the rework. I don't know how the hell are people even playing any melee besides faceroll oneshot builds. |
