I took 2 Necros to level 98 in 3.9 and 3.10, dont get me wrong, kinda understand the love they get, but unless we have a rework for other classes, this forum Witch Build section is 90% Spectre+Skeleton+VD+Golem guides.

A rework is needed for other classes/Ascendencies. I haven't played in harvest due to the lack of viable, fun and enjoyable alternatives to cyclone or necro.

The good old everyone gets a trophy logic.

And you would care about that because why ?

POE is actually a single player game in most of the parts...Why would you care about what I reflect on my skill and effort ?

In a game that at one point everything one shots everything, you care about a class that you don't like playing.

You should say "buff this class cuz I like it and play it well" , not "nerf that class because it's too easy and I feel stupid playing a hard class".

Here is 1c , buy a clue.

P.S - Yes , in a game that is mostly designed on single playing , dungeoun crawling, everybody should get a trophy some way or another for just enjoying playing. Not for ranting that minions are op and my whatever build you are playing is so hard and no rewarding cuz minions are too op.


P.S nerf Scion cuz she looks hot compared to Templar. And nerf Occultist cuz she has sick avatar art compared to Elementalist. And also Nerf Marauder , cuz I just don't like head smashing big trolls.

Because if you take away skill and effort its boring for most players.

There are plenty of games out there for pre teens, go enjoy them and leave complex rewarding games like poe to the adults.

One shots everything ? Oh you mean white nobs in maps right ?

Minion Nerf threads have been on this forum since 3.9. The simple fact that somebody opens a thread called "Dont Nerf them" is a clear indication of something everybody knows. They are dominant in the Witch Class and almost any other Witch build is clearly inferior (at least on the first 2 weeks).Necro defenders always argue they are not that overpowered, sometimes they cant even understand all the hate and they might be true. So, why are they being attacked league after league?And,...Why being not OP, They are being picked by 30-40% of player base for almost the first 2 months of the last 3-4 leagues?

On the other side, any other player who doesnt like them notices how easy to level up they are and asks, often without too much insight for a Nerf.

But the key aspect is that Necros, are a result of a suboptimal balance process in this game, which has left POE with a smaller build diversity, specially when leaguestarting.

Optimal , great potential leaguestarters get more currency, more quickly and more easily. At least that´s the shared perception by a majority. Broken balance means, broken Trade, and thus subpar build diversity right from the beginning, almost to league end.

So, in this strange balancing process, they have been caught in the middle of a Nerf crossfire, some others died, many were left crippled, too weak or too expensive to heal. The undead escaped quite succesfully and they don´t want to be sent back to the nerf frontline because others may have perished. They are not OP anymore, simply, survived with less scratches and wounds.

Eventually, they get personal, because they feel attacked and present 2 compelling arguments:

1. Don´t ask for nerfs when you are a bad player with your chosen Build.
2. We are not OP, buff others.

GGG, wont EVER do number 2. So, Necros pray for a Nerf free Patch Notes, league after league.

In a way, they are being blamed for a bad ascendancy balance they didn´t design.

To sum up, get ready for TONS of Necros in Heist, and Nerf Minions Threads for the following league, again. They will get nerfed, again,but Elems and Occs diversity and potential is so low, that they will still manage to get there. After all, those squishy elem dealers have got positional static shields and good looking Crackling Lance, that scales greatly when not moving, and Occultists get fancy explosions they already had, but only when self casting. Meanwhile the Undead Horde rushes to the end of the Heist.
