The Multi-box Thread: How it ruins the game.
" I don't want to play WoW. I want to play a great ARPG where I try to maximize my individual power. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

" So you want to play solo. Even more reason to be against multiplayer iir/iiq bonus. Or are you trying to say that multiplayer in ARPG does not involve multiple players in a team, using combined skills to take down monsters... This notion of "I want it all, now, and screw everyone else" just doesn't fit in a multiplayer game. It's selfish and the leading cause of RMT sites. |
|
Stop being a relic of the past and start thinking about team cooperation and skill usage. Not piggy drop rates for cheating multi-farmer bot RMT game destroyers.[/quote] Seeing as it is still not against the rules, your comment is still merely opinion. |

" That's exactly what I'm saying. The content and skills should be designed for solo play. MP is just a sideshow distraction, usually involving 1-2 damage dealers and 4+ loot hoovers. Fuck that. Yeah, I'm selfish with my loot. I don't spend my time in-game for you upgrades, nor do I expect you to spend time for mine. I don't need you. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

Ok, so b15h09 agrees that removing bonus iiq/iir in multiplayer is a good thing.
And kisslel13 supports RMT sites, including constant spam and account stealing. Multiboxing is cheating. 42 pages and all the MB supporting arguments have done is prove that cheaters will make up any bullshart excuse to keep on cheating. They do not give a crap about the game, the community, team work or sportsmanship. They just want unreasonable advantages over other players. They will keep arguing of course. After all, if you're a scum bag cheating RMT supporter in a free community based game, why stop? |
|
Well...exactly what b15h09 said, thats what this game consists of. people dont give a crap about each other they only out for themselves and thats why i hate this loot system because of DBags like him who take ur sh*t and laugh in ur face, thats why i dont wana group up.

" They can remove it, that's fine. I don't party anyway, and with such a change, neither would anyone else. That said, I'd love a players X command to raise my risk:reward ratio. Increase the mv and dmg of monsters as well as the hp boost. w/e. If I can't take handle it, then I have a goal. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

" Meh, I've left the only 2 exalteds that I've ever seen drop on the ground for their rightful owners. Could have had them, but chose to leave them. I've never had a similar courtesy extended to me. My point is, when I'm the one clearing things, and I can do it solo in a 6 man party (pre crap radius 'fix'), I want to be able to get the rewards of being a badass. I don't wanna carry scrubs. My reward for building a good character should be increased efficiency. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

" players x is the ultimate multiboxer/botter cheat tool. It should NEVER be implemented in a community based game Other players who have friends, will still party up because some people actually play the game for the challenge. Sorting out skills and builds and cooperating in taking down tough monsters. It's ok if you don't have friends. Lots of guys play with themselves. But the issue in this thread is Multiboxing and how players who use that style of cheating are ruining the game. Last edited by Cambob#4516 on Apr 3, 2013, 3:58:46 PM

" Yeah, and only those with no understanding of currencies intrinsic value think that MB can ruin the game. PC gaming is a personal hobby. I don't have many friends that game outside consoles. I do enjoy playing with myself. Who doesn't? But when I 'group', it's either at a buddies house, or mine, with a couple 12 packs or a bottle of Jameson. I don't get much from online socialization. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.
