They cant put a stop to it though. THere is no way to fix the issue. Its undetectable and mostly unenforcable even if it was detectable. This would be why its legal in just about every game.

The base idea of the bonus is backwards in the first place. Game is generally much harder solo than in a group. You get multiple targets for the AI to deal with, AOE/DPS that outweighs additional mob health, multiple stacks of gear MF bonus and access to multiple portal placements. The bonus rewards playing easy mode, if anything there should be a slight penalty to running with a group until the game properly scales difficulty with party size.

thats not punishing, thats making solo play not as unefficient compared to grouping as it is now. at least they get advantage, as of now, there is no downsides for playing in group compared to solo play.
u get less drops in solo, u get harder mobs, u get less experience.

Diablo 2 established the concept of "monster item fountains" for multiple player instances.
That was ages ago and it's SO old school.
Removing iir/iiq from multiplayer is leveling the playing field, especially in a FFA drop game.
Stop being a relic of the past and start thinking about team cooperation and skill usage. Not piggy drop rates for cheating multi-farmer bot RMT game destroyers.
