Notice that both of the multiboxing methods involve the use of bots -- the real enemy -- because multiboxing without bots was hit hard by the 0.10.4 patch that required party members to remain in proximity of each other for increased loot drops, which makes multiboxing without some kind of automated method to keep your alts near you utterly ineffective. So, before we get to 40 pages, let's review:
duping, bots and stealing accounts are bad. spam bots and RMT's are annoying. but... multiboxing is "ok" - according to some people. Really? One user, playing 6 accounts simultaneously, gaining the bonus advantage of multi-farming iiq and iir is not cheating according to some people. Just to be clear since some posters in this thread are having difficulty understanding: A player who uses a multiboxing system gains a direct advantage over other players who do not use a multiboxing system. One more time, just to make sure: Multiboxing is not included with Path Of Exile. Multiboxing is not a universally available play method. ... All of the excuses, troll attacks and blatant subterfuge can't wash away the reality of multiboxing. It's a cheat. The same as duping, botting, stealing accounts, etc. Those who defend this cheating practice should be suspect for their in game behavior as they may be ruining PoE before this AMAZING game is even fully released. Treat them as they implicitly treat you. |
