Just so you know, this game is already riddled with cheats. Here are a few examples

I accept that players use multiboxes to trade items among different accounts. But it's really unacceptable to use this way to get more loot. It may be hard to solve this problems, but anyway, ban everyone that's using this way to get more loot first.

The way it affects me is how other players in the ladder races are consistently getting through the maps. This explains a lot. I hope they turn on their cheat detection before the end of the race season.

The fact that cheats exist for this game isn't GGG's fault.

Fault is to hard you should rather call it inexperience.

Looking at the coders of GGG you will see they are relatively young and it's unlikely all of them were interested in certain codingareas. Most likely their major experience is OOP.

Not much experience means you can't add effective methods for antidebbuging.
Rather really basic ones.

On the other side hackers don't put too much effort into cheats, so no antidetection code is involved.
Compile those open source cheats yourself get hookshark activate them out of game if you are paranoid and start hookshark.

You will clearly see every modification. A simple memoryscanner would deal with it.

If hackers put effort in an antidetection either the group with more experience wins or it is a permanent cat and mouse game.

In its current state the client is easy to reverse given you have some ASM experience.

a lot of streamers (so we are sure they are not hacking) have no trouble winning races

And if I tell you that loading the map into the client allows external maphacks that can't be detected and can be used on a second monitor?
Even the streamers are young they may have parents which are able to write something like that you can never know.

Or what if somebody uses a bot, uses tinycam with a video of a streamer without any reaction and bots for the duration of the video?

It's unlikely but not impossible.

Most of the people who win races consistently are also streaming :)
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

It seems if you aren't cheating, you aren't playing efficiently. At my richest, my legit lvl 71 HC character had 7gcp (Those pyramid shaped triangles).

at your richest you have 21 chaos or 42 alchs worth? wow bro

^ this is about 45-50 exalted worth right there, ive never botted, mulit boxed, brought currency for real money, or anything like that, so no, you dnt have to "cheat" to be rich,
every single game has cheats, just got to live with it and hope GGG do everything in there power to stop um :)

Default league's currency is vastly deflated and doesn't count, 45-50 exalts is like 10 or less exalts in HC. Not that I care anymore, I've quit.

Now take a look at the stash of a multiboxer: http://i.imgur.com/C2bv0W1.png - These are mostly very expensive highly sought after currency pieces, where for some you'd never posses.

It seems if you aren't cheating, you aren't playing efficiently. At my richest, my legit lvl 71 HC character had 7gcp (Those pyramid shaped triangles).

Once I discovered these I've immediately quit,. Like every mmorpg investing massive amount of time developing your character is pointless as it can easily be surpassed with cheats or with money purchase of game currency.

I would love to purchase this game as a single player where you aren't forced to farm and trade other players for gear to get anywhere. Besides, the crafting system is awful and completely dependent on luck. It seems GGG's business model is designed to fool people who are willing to waste their time grinding a bad gear system. This is a post to inform people like me who aren't familiar with the cheating nature of mmorpg games.

Now let's see how long before the moderator censor this post, it would be bad business for their scam.

People who utilize scripts or try to automate game processes are being blocked and having their IP's banned. Of course, the game is F2P and accounts cost nothing, so their is nothing GGG can do to eliminate this problem short of adding a subscription cost or an offline mode. But it isn't as if they aren't doing what they can.

At the least the ability to purchase accounts is an issue with every online game and so long as that is an issue the ability to get around " investing massive amount of time developing your character " will always be a reality.

I understand that cheats and exploits have a detrimental outcome on any game community, but in all honesty these kinds of cheats and exploits are found in one way or another across any online game. Some are just more prevalent than others, I have played MMO's where entire guilds were banned months after utilizing some kind of exploitive procedure - but by the time they are banned, the damage has already been done. If the fact that some players will always try to cheat prohibits you from playing a game, I'd stay away from any online game whatsoever - this isn't dismissing your criticism, it's taking it to its logical conclusion.

I would love a single player mode as well, and I believe that once player made leagues are implemented a lot of these issues will go away. Personally I plan on having my own league (assuming the price isn't exorbitant) and invite my RL friends and in game friends.

Seriously, people need to stop doing this. They learn that some amount of people are making a lot more loot than normal through multiboxing, botting, maphack or something, then they just start talking about how these people are commanding the whole economy, manipulating prices so it is harder for them to get anything, etc. when they have no real reason to believe it.

People talked like this was happening with whomever could multibox and run the old chaos recipe. So, if it were really an epidemic and then it got fixed, chaos should be a lot more rare and their relative value should have gone up. Instead it has gone down. It costs more chaos since the nerfs for GCP/exalted than it did then.
