Just so you know, this game is already riddled with cheats. Here are a few examples

High RNG on loot systems creates large "desirable" items, this does in fact facilitate the desire to go outside the rules of the game, for some hacking into games is just part of their experience with gaming, it's what they do, for others it's to gain advantage and profit.

You can't do much about the former, but the latter? you can design against that.

Games have already been altering their design to accommodate this, but sadly PoE is FAR too RNG dependent in it's current form to not be high risk. If the only way to circumvent or improve RNG is to multibox, maphack, or zoomhack then naturally players will be drawn to it, as a F2P game this is even MORE evident as there's little to no loss if they end up banned, they just create a new account and continue. All attempts to shut them out can and probably will be circumvented also.

You can either accept this is a small minority of players and that they probably don't have as much of an impact on the game as some would have you believe but do "spoil the broth" for everyone by peeing in it, or start to urge GGG to look into their design directions with cheaters more in mind.

It's the main reason, why i play aRPGs only Selffound. You shouldnt try to compete with exploiters and cheaters, because the only way to do that, is by cheating and abusing yourself.
It's just what happens in this Genre, so no real surprise.

You don't have much choice, you either painfully grind and farm or be forced to use an exploit. This is their 'free to play' business model, it's supposed to encourage longevity and addictive play style.

If the existence of cheats in an online game is a deciding factor in your choice of games, you should just stop looking at online games altogether. Every single one of them has cheats and hacks.

The fact that cheats exist for this game isn't GGG's fault. I have no idea how someone would think up a scam conspiracy theory when the game is completely, entirely, 100% free. How is GGG gaining anything from the existence of cheats? To think they are is absurd.
Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.

Wow, do you think this game runs on charity? How do you think they plan to keep their playerbase to have a better chance at buying microtransaction? By addictive gameplay ofcourse! This isn't miniclip.com where you play a onetime game. Therefore they must create a difficult and competitive gear/loot system to facilitate that. Hackers just dodge the 'difficult' part.
This isn't an MMORPG.
You can play this game fine solo.
All those hacks mentioned in the first post don't have a huge effect on gameplay and a lot of streamers (so we are sure they are not hacking) have no trouble winning races.

You are bashing the game and not accepting any counter argument.

And ignore Deceptionist, he's just a forum troll.

No one expects a cheat free online game, but players do expect actions to be taken against those who do cheat.

You reply is just pathetic, especially coming from a mod.

Surely OP is disheartened and may be a little harsh with his choice of words but I don't see him accusing GGG of scamming people for money.
if these multibox users increases does it mean, 5L-6L, high tier armors would become cheaper in the future??

i remember the days when botting was discovered in ragnarok online, it made those eluniums (craft items) and high level armors cheaper.

Besides completely nullifying pvp, those hackers makes me unmotivated to play solo or party knowing that I could do it 6x better with hacks. Goodluck putting the worms back in can once they're out.

GGG has very limited resources so i guess we'll have to put up with this cheating business for now.

But they'll release paid league in future where you can play with your mates and make your own rules, that's just as good as offline mode i guess, just be patient sir.
