Great idea! Any chance you'll make this available via RSS feed / announce these on twitter? ;)

Please allow me the option to disable the Deal of the Day popup on the login screen. I'm trying to roleplay. It's not helping.
If the target audience is, as you say, players who simply launch the client without bothering to read the website (and be subject to shop advertising), then i don't see the harm in allowing the popup to be disabled. If you have the knowledge to disable the popup, then you're obviously aware of the system it's advertising. Once you've seen it, you know it's there, and you can make use of it or ignore it.
While we're at it, please consider moving the Microtransactions stash tab button. I'm not sure if that last button slot down the bottom left is being saved for something else, but i really don't like where it is now. Every time i look down at my hotbar to remind myself of my characters abilities and immerse myself in the roleplay of things, i see a big green dollar sign. It's not helping.
For the record, i'm one of those people who turns the light off and the game music up every time i play. I appreciate the microtransaction system, but it can be very immersion-breaking when seen in the wrong context. I love that if i want to chase a particular character feel there are options for customising spell effect and such, don't get me wrong, i'm quite sure i will take advantage of the system in the future. I just don't want it all up in my face on a regular basis while i'm trying to roleplay.
Thanks for your consideration.
Are these things really worth complaining about? Really?

Just putting this out there, its kinda tacky , already would just go to site if was gonna purchase something, discourages me from such activities
I know youll all rage on me to defend the GGG team, but Its not like I dont want them to become rich, I DO want them to become rich
I just despise ADs I am not given options to avoid, I Rarely watch cable due to hating ADs.
take this post how you all want, not worried about making you guys like me personally, but just know I personally DO like the GGG team and appreciate their work, just wish you would make it so, once the in game microtransaction button is clicked, first a page of the deals opens then u can close that page and go through all normal purchases IN-GAME , I think that would be cool

Didnt see his post before I posted, I agree with him the $ sign seems like it got more noticable, if it was moved to bottom left where that one empty button slot is, I would be so happy, I agree with this guy alot, trying to get into a game, not think about shopping, I would do that outside of gametime, so like I said in my post just make that button open the sales in game and move it to that spot near other main buttons (not skills). If you guys did that... be my hero

Haha...wah wah wah...I don't like when my free games bring some minor attention to the fact that I can support the developers. I suggest putting black tape on your monitor where both the Deal of the Day popup is, as well as the "big green dollar sign".
I for one think the deal of the day thing is cool, and most importantly, it will get GGG some more money to put into the game.

I like the concept of daily deals, but I'm with some others in thinking how it's advertised on the main login screen is quite tacky.
It really kills the mood of the otherwise awesome screen.
Plus, on top of that, if I were a brand new player who had just downloaded the game for the first time, I would think "Great, no wonder it's a free game, they are going to bombard me with ads the whole time"
So it doesn't leave a good first impression is all.

Maybe they could put it on the launcher screen instead of on the login screen?

So if we find out that something we purchased now costs less and send you a message noting this will we have those points refunded? Just curious :P
If you're unhappy about it, our support team can make you happy. The purchase is appreciated either way though!
does this mean everybody now just has to spam support with requests for reclaiming the points already spent on microtransactiont-items which are now on the weekly sale to save some bucks?
if yes chris please rename "sale of the week" to "exchange item of the week to a cheaper one". i really hope it's just that guy who is allowed to do it.
What I was referring to was not the daily deals obviously, that is very manipulative and clearly would get a big fat NOPE from GGG if someone said that.
BUT if someone bought something that had its' PERMANENT price reduced from what it was before... That is a different argument, and I am sure that whenever someone would send in something saying that they want refunded points they check your transaction history :P
