To those who are concerned about the Deal of the Day image on the login screen of the game - don't worry, we don't intend to spam the game with ads to the shop all over the place. Our priority is keeping gameplay clean and separate from monetisation. We can see that only a portion of players check the site each day, so having it on the login screen helps the players who just run the game client. They're probably not reading this news update, though :P

Cats in general are OP, which is why cats have that I will do whatever I want philosophy. If GGG adds cats, they will have to be balanced by Jack Russell Blink Dog packs (which could replace any flicker strike mob revives).

That I will do whatever I want philosophy would fit perfectly for PoE. And I'm fine with having dogs aswell as long as we get cats at the same time.

Oh, and I caved and bought the daily deal, a halo and a frog together with more stash tabs. Goddammit, I can't resist a good sale....

Having just caved in and bought the vampiric effect, I'm wondering if there is going to be any way in the future to purchase multiple points packs in one go. Instead of buying 1, paying for it then buy another and pay for that etc.
I got a $20 and a $10 dollar pack to cover the cost as not rich enough for the $50 and it just seems an awkward way of doing it. Cheers

the game never handled a remote home directory well before, requiring me to re-enter account, password, and reset options each time I opened it.... now it can't even make it that far. :(

I haven't bought anything since Closed Beta, but this will most likely make me snag something small when I have the extra cash laying around.

I look like your really creepy neighbor when I'm wearing horns and I have a frog following me around, though. Can I just be an average neighbor? :(

I am one of those people that only buys things when they are on sale so this is great for me. I will no doubt be checking this every day ;)

I do feel that the banner on the login screen is a bit tacky though. First of all, only a handful of players actually care about it, to the rest it's probably an annoyance. Secondly, being on the left side of the screen it actually detracts my eyes from the login button which is quite annoying.

I think the daily deal would be much more suited to be in the micro$ inventory. I would actually like to see things being purchasable within the game (probably via the micro$ inventory as well) in the long run.

Also instead of having a daily deals category in the shop, it should be an 'On Sale' category and the deal of the day could take up both columns. Just a thought.
