Daily Deals Introduced
" It's just a little too big, I think. Blocks the view of the background. But I understand why they want it up front like that; they need people to see their deals without having to look for it. Invited to Beta 2012-03-18 / Supporter since 2012-04-08

I like the new price range.
So far i only bought stash tabs but maybe next time i got some money to spare on micro, i might think about getting a few cheaper effects and/or a 10 Credit pet as well. That is, if by then there are skill effects for skills i actually use. If not, i'm just gonna stick with more stash tabs for some more time... Can't get enough of those! ^^ |

Please allow me the option to disable the Deal of the Day popup on the login screen. I'm trying to roleplay. It's not helping.
If the target audience is, as you say, players who simply launch the client without bothering to read the website (and be subject to shop advertising), then i don't see the harm in allowing the popup to be disabled. If you have the knowledge to disable the popup, then you're obviously aware of the system it's advertising. Once you've seen it, you know it's there, and you can make use of it or ignore it. While we're at it, please consider moving the Microtransactions stash tab button. I'm not sure if that last button slot down the bottom left is being saved for something else, but i really don't like where it is now. Every time i look down at my hotbar to remind myself of my characters abilities and immerse myself in the roleplay of things, i see a big green dollar sign. It's not helping. For the record, i'm one of those people who turns the light off and the game music up every time i play. I appreciate the microtransaction system, but it can be very immersion-breaking when seen in the wrong context. I love that if i want to chase a particular character feel there are options for customising spell effect and such, don't get me wrong, i'm quite sure i will take advantage of the system in the future. I just don't want it all up in my face on a regular basis while i'm trying to roleplay. Thanks for your consideration. |
