Sirus fight is making me quit POE
" If only you bothered to read just the previous reply, hey no more problems! |

" In their defense, they probably didn't bother trudging through 40+ pages to read that, and I can't blame them. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish. |

" It's a very shitty tell. Killed sirus in ssfhc, still think that move is retarded. I'm always of the belief that the more dangerous a boss's move is, the more telegraphed it should be. In this case, the boss, all of his moves, and every texture involved in this fight blend in with each other. The color distinctions are terrible and hence it's easy as fuck to lose focus on what's going on. And the tell happens in a split second. |

The worst thing in the game. This fight is terrible. Throw it out and start again.

EVERY single boss fight in this game for the last god knows how many leagues comes down to the same old [Removed by Support]:
Limited arena where you fight the boss the boss having a huge aoe attacks/mechanics the boss one shotting you unless you play some [Removed by Support] tank build with huge $$ investment. I really would enjoy having something difference FOR ONCE! The latest 2 bosses are just [Removed by Support] to me T8 sirus is a no go because of his 1 shot horrible mechanics. The new event with the 300 [Removed by Support] splinters seems dumb to me as well can we for once have a big arena where we can fight a boss without having to worry about the place being filled with [Removed by Support] areas of death? Also what the hell is up with the hard hits these bosses do and the huge number of skills they have? O_O The other day I watched a youtube clip explaining all the skills the new splinter boss has and i kid you not it was 2 mins+ long. How many times do you think a normal player can summon said boss in order to 'learn' the fight considering the huge amount of stuff you need in order to collect just so they can be 1 shotted by mechanic number 13? I am not asking you to change the whole game for me I am asking you to come up for ONCE with something different. Last edited by Lisa_GGG#0000 on May 12, 2020, 4:02:17 PM

" Yeah because all a player has to deal with is watchi where he turns his head right? There is nothing else to worry about? No shit on the ground no spinning lasers or your potions cooldowns naah it is all cool and we don't have to worry about it let us focus entirely on his red face while playing on a red background surrounded by red lasers and red everything... I am not saying that your statement is dumb but yeah... it is dumb. |

" Thanks! It was pretty satisfying. Just did it on A8, by accident really, had been avoiding it, was looking to see if there were any shaper maps for sale and hit the wrong thing. Had leveled a bit and improved things. It wasn't too bad (died twice, one was me being dumb). My DPS is only like ~700k (with bleed), and ~<5k life, but maybe the max block helped, actually got hit by DIE and survive. With a lot of leech I do find that small differences in life can sometimes make a difference, if you can just stay above the instant death line you can build back fast. As other's have complained, it really is the teleporting out of sight on phase 4 that makes it so annoying. Though having a ranged attack targeted is nice, since that will follow him if you don't stop attacking, gives a nice hint as to where he went. |

Guys :)
I'm Spectre necromancer, so i'm definetely not playing abused mechanics :) First, when i came to sirus, i was basically in the same situation as topic starter and most of the people here :) There are some tricks for you. 1) turn of your music and switch on the sound in the game - sirus for almost every of his skill is screaming, so you can identify what he is doing 2) There is clean logic, when he is making his "Die" beam, just understand it and avoid it. 3) When you understand, that there is die scream, just run away from him for at least 1.5 screen - the beam is not very long, and he will cast it if you are in or out of range 4) this spots of burning ground is also not constantly, if he spam it, and you are for example melee - just get away from it and wait, they are around 30-40 seconds when they are on the ground, and he is not constantly spamming it 5) When he is between the phases, and you have this cyclones turning, just wait a bit, if you have no clear passage to him, they will go away. In general i just want to give you 1 main tip - be patient. This boss is like uber elder - it's not about go in and mindlessly attack the boss, it's sometimes better to stand still and not doing damage, waiting for the skills cooldown. So in general - i'm against that GGG would make this boss easier - it's really managable to kill, but yes, this boss kill require a skill, not only a gear. |

" Okay, tell us more how complicated and skillful is running around in circles without the need to actually target something. "Path of Exile's engine is currently modern, lean and fast." - Chris Wilson, September 19th, 2019
