Sirus fight is making me quit POE



Every damn fight happens something bugged (double everlasting fire, offscreen 'Die', pushing into storms etc). And I just can't get him with melee build because he teleports EVERY DAMN SECOND. I think it's possible only with 3M+ dps.

I guess I'll just stop playing this game, because I do not want to level up ranged character just to be able to kill endgame. Fuck this 2-hour spawning process just to die 6 times in a row. I don't want to play the game where one endgame boss is a perfectly balanced and can be killed with almost any build. you just need practice (Uber Elder) and other makes you play ranged build ONLY BECAUSE IT'S NOT TESTED.
I have to agree with everything everyone is saying here: Sirus 8 is broken. I have spawned him twice now and both times, I failed him after the last phase. Every phase before that one, I could handle and had no issues. As soon as the new beam comes into play, it's pretty much game over. Both times I had him constantly casting it. His attacks just chain over and over. This last time I didn't even get a 3 corridor meteor attack, just the wide beams and "die" beams.

His teleporting away from the player is also way too high. Not everyone playing the game is going to be a range class of some type. I'm using close up melee with cyclone and his teleporting is just ridiculous. I feel I'm being forced to play some type of range character and I don't think anyone should be forced to play builds they don't really want to. He should be able to be killed, without THIS much of broken mechanics, on any build. I feel if we don't one shot him in his last phase, then it's over. And we are double punished if we die because he will just one shot us running back in too.

Honestly though, not only is he chaining way too much, I also think the new beam is just a little too wide. It lowers just how much room we have to move and even if we do successfully dodge 99.9% of it, if our TOE clips it, we have a slow buff put on us that pretty much screws up the rest of the phase.

The very odd thing is that Sirus 7 and below wasn't even this hard. What is the HUGE difference between these two fights? He has more hp? Why doesn't he chain his attacks in those levels like he does in 8? I just don't understand this at all.

GGG, please, for the sanity of your community, fix this boss. I know he was made to be "hard" because you guys didn't like that bosses were being trivialized but this is just ridiculous. This is going to cause people to quit the game because they can't handle the frustration anymore.
I wonder how many of these replies here do not know how the fight works or have negative chaos res (lol nice ehp buddy) and expecting a cakewalk...

But of course, respawning and dying to his die beam when u just entered his arena is BS. Why is that even a thing??? Luckily ive not yet encountered that in my 20+ sirus kills (about 10 were A8) this league.

Not I. I'm currently at 85 (87) chaos res and I was able to kill him last league no problem at all. But he didn't have the chain attacks that he now has then either. I know how the fight works, or is supposed to work. But I guess different builds are able to handle his bugs better than others (ie: range builds vs. melee), hence what I said about being forced to play a certain type of build.
Sad to see all these elitists gatekeeping this game they've played religiously and pretending like this broken fight is easy.
Explain to me how you're expected to avoid the die beam when he teleports and uses it off-screen without giving you time to react or even a signal of where it's going to come from. No really GGG, please try to validate your nonsense, broken fight designed to waste my time.
I either kill him deathless or not at all. As soon as I die in phase 3... I cannot get back to him. As soon as I get back to him, he teleports and I cannot find him cuz its so dark and then he oneshots me....i wish they would fix something so i could actually see whats happening in the fight. It sucks to die 5 times in a row to something you can't see or damage. Uber elder is a tough fight but fair...if you die in that fight, at least you know why and is probably a mistake on your part...The patch is nice that you can get back to him easier, but as soon as you do, he tele's away, you can't find him, then he one shots you or die by degen. IDK what else to say or do...maybe I need some tips in getting back to him safely? If i could just have 3 seconds of damage he would be dead.

Try blink arrow :) Do you think your phase run + 1 use dash is sufficient to close the gap all the time when he teles away?

You know which way he is teleporting, because he turns to face the direction before doing so.
How can it be that we still have no response here from GGG(37 Pages)?
