Sirus fight is making me quit POE
Notice how this is a 35 page thread and not ONE member of GGG has responded. They do not care about our enjoyment any longer. They've continously kept nerfing skills, gems and armor for many seasons now and we've ended up with semi-working builds (or 200ex+ builds that can do end-game) that get one shotted at random. It's the worst encounter of any game i've ever played. You have made a fight where the boss randomly teleports off screen and then instantly shoot you with a death laser impossible to avoid since you have no idea where he is. Is this your way of making things harder? Just implement random rng shit that is impossible to anticipate just so ppl die here and there? So many people complain about the sirus shitfest, but they are just ignoring the people who do. I will never again spend money on mtx for this game as long as this fight is not completely removed, reworked for a season(and for crying out loud, stop using the regular playerbase as your beta-testers, that just makes every single season a beta-season until the next season who is also another beta-season.) and then maybe implemented at a later stage. Don't implement shit that's broken like this, where you exclude 99% of the playerbase from completing the game. At least tune it down until you have fixed it so people can enjoy the game again, and don't have to clear 36 maps between each time they get multimurdered by rng.(36?! wtf were you thinking)
I would like to see a video of one of the GGG team do this fight with a regular build. Last edited by Blodklat#2154 on Apr 17, 2020, 6:53:44 PM

Frankly I think ggg is void of creativity now. Everything has to one shot you from offscreen. It's hacky game design under the facade of "difficulty". There is a reason we went from a diverse league to 40% herald guardians. I really am not enjoying this game, TBH everything else on the market sucks and now so does POE. So much potential pissed away.

This fight just sucks, there is nothingg else to say about it. Sometimes the tornadoes have moved in such a way that you have nowhere to run to escape the 4 split beams or the die beam, other times he just nukes you with the die beam before you can see where he is.
Sometimes it would be nice to actually level up, but the only way to do that is to buy pure breachstones because the maps have too many random one shots, and sirus takes whatever remainined exp you have. |

FIX THE LAST PHASE GGG. ONE SHOT LASER OFF SCREEN IS MAKING ME RAGE QUIT THIS GAME.

ok so... my first post on these forums. First let me say I've been playing video games on a pc since diablo 1, and I've never ever hated a fight so much in my life, as I do the sirus fight. This is unfortunate because, the rest of this game has really been fun.
But put that aside for a minute, I think the last part of the fight is actually kind of broken. After dying in the last phase to the die beam during the spinning beams part (had not died in first 3 phases at all) when you come back in, he will just beam you right away, and then he'll launch into the 4 spinning beam part again, which means he's going to die beam you again twice. This happened to me several times in this last attempt I did, and the funny thing is the only time I've been able to kill him this league AT ALL, was when he did not do the 4 spinning beams part back to back to back, and instead he seemed to do a normal rotation of mechanics, which gave me time to react, and also to do damage on him. I remember thinking during that attempt, why is he just letting me kill him this time, all the other times he was teleporting like crazy every time he could. So I'm wondering if there is actually a bug going on with his last phase where he can do the back to back to back beams or is it just rng that decides what his next mechanic will be? Or if you die during spinning beams does he just start back to that part when you reenter the fight? If so why does he beam you first when you're running in? Either way, on this last attempt, during the last phase, I saw only beams and spinning beams and more beams and no corridors, and no maze. The beams eventually killed me 6 times total, (I only died to beams i think). Although i did survive a couple beams in general (spamming potions) he was hitting me with them before I even knew what was happening, still just running in to get to him. Now I'm sort of new to this game, just started in metamorph, so maybe I'm still just a noob. But... last season I got him easy with the same build I have now (actually I have much better shaper damage now I kill that boss no problem). I also have over 10k effective health, and so this buff to the bosses beams seems like a stab to my kidney. I have to wonder if there is any way (besides stacking heralds) that I can build a character to survive a beam that is practically unavoidable, and spammed at me constantly. Seriously, anyone got advice that isn't "stay out of beam"? I mean it took me a month to unlock awakener 8, the whole time I was thinking it will be worth it in the end, and now I'm just thinking that was a waste of a month. One shot beamed while running in before you have time to even see the boss is pretty much the game design fail of all time. Last edited by Soulsucka#5124 on Apr 18, 2020, 8:46:40 PM

" Actually if you miss to kill him the first time you start the phase 4, this is just RNG that you can kill him after wether he will teleport and one shot from offscreen or not... has nothing to do with the player skills. I recommend do your own game objective then pass on another game, this boss has always been bugged, and only made for stacked Heralds and/or 5K+ regen / secs. |

10 turn and lose 8 turn, last phase like sh*t,outside range kamekameha 1 shot,Spinning Negation Beams slow my action speed and fhardcore for me

Just max your chaos res and dps him down, fights a joke with well geared char.

Fix the LAST phase, beat him a bunch of times but sometimes the fight is frustrating to one-shot offscreen laser or for the "everlasting fire" loop with intargettable moves all the time, it's a good fight but it's impossible if Sirius can do all the same combos that make him immortal again and again
