Have a look at a Metamorph-specific unique ring!

Wouldn't Bodyswap count as a nova? You are using your body as the center?

With Darkpact it probably only works on self cast not skeles?

While your body acts as the center for part of the effect, you already target an area or at least a corpse with it. It's already used at range.

Edit: So how does Sire of Shards not add a hidden "Nova" tag?
Because support effects fundamentally cannot do that.

I mean, if Discharge counts as a "nova" now
Why would it not? it's a fully circular AoE centered on you. It's a perfect example of a nova. I honestly have no idea why you would be surprised by that one.

and Death's Oath works with Arcane Surge by adding a hidden Duration tag...
It does not and never has. The game fundamentally does not work that way. A skill is considered to have the tags matching it's skill gem, and no others. Supports do not modifiy tags.

Special support effects can do that and do exist elsewhere in the game though.

And of course Discharge is a great example of a Nova, yes, but is lacking a Nova tag, since that hasn't existed (and does not currently exist, today). So you "honestly" are being disengenuous for no good reason and you know it. The fact remains you are changing Sire of Shards because... what, you are not wanting to code it? Sure, just say so. Okay, so you introduce this item, get our hopes up, THEN clarify? Maybe give us information up front next time before people rightly speculate that this has interactions it should have, but does not, and start thinking about all the cool possibilities that then... don't exist.

Also, yes, I saw a similar answer about a year ago on reddit. Yet if this were true Death's Oath would not work with Arcane Surge but was still suddenly discovered to do so one day and has ever since.

But keep up this pre-league fiasco and tell us whatever makes you feel better.

(2-3-2019) Buff underused skills (3.23?!)+ selfcast, stop nerfing defense, build in threshold jewels (3.23?!), implement D3-style looting, add death log + MTX preview, actually rework flasks, stop balancing around the .01%, unnerf Harvest, ADD NEW WAYS TO LEVEL, finally implement Loot 2.0

Do warcry skills count as nova skills?

You do target a location but it is also cast on your current location. It does a nova twice. You simply relocate before the second. The skill sounds like it cast in 2 different spots both around you.

Actually... it doesn't matter. The ring only works on spells. Damn. Maybe decoy totem though?

Ah ya... They need more things to effect "Warcry"s :|
Late to the party, but bummed it doesn't work with Sire of Shards, shotgunning Arctic Breath would have been broken
Why would RF not work? burning a set area with a consistent nova? Also Molten Shell?

To me, Nova implies an explosion of some sort.
RF does not do that.
Molten Shell on the other hand, good question.
