Latest patch crashes my video card.

I have the exact same problem with an 1080GTX.
Random Crashes to a black screen while hearing ambient sounds - only solution is to restart the pc.

Other Games don't seem to have the problem - I'm running BFV and Furmark parallel in order to provoke the issue if it's not POE related.

Strange thing is - the behavior only started on the January the 3rd.
I've got the same issue on a 760 GTX.
Doesn't happen in any other games.
underclocking my GPU worked for a little bit, but now i'm back to black screening and having to restart my pc manually constantly. really really really annoying
I have a brand new pc (Recieved in October) AND HAVE A 2070 SUPER. I am also having these crashes.


I've sat in towns for ages and been fine.
I'll go on a few runs etc.. and randomly, black screen, no signal and my fans go back to a boot-up speed (when i first turn the pc on they are full speed until bios slows them down?). My pc went through stress tests before i got it, i've done my own since these crashes and all is fine.

I haven't noticed whether or not it is when i've killed a Tane creature (for him to spawn) but it does seem plausible when i think about it as it has always been just as i've killed something (not taken notice if it drops a Tane item).

This is very strange!
I managed to play last night without this happening now since the new patch. Is anyone else able to share whether it seems fixed for them
nah still not fixed for me unfortunately, still crashing nearly every 1-2 maps. i've had periods since league start where i'll crash maybe once an hour or two, sometimes less, but over the past week it's been about as bad as ever.

played ssf/hc and trade league hc this league and lost like 3 characters to this shit, then i changed to sc trade and now i just end up crashing all the time and losing xp so it's basically pointless to play at this stage. also, since there's no post from GGG since the inception of this thread i assume they aren't working on it, so i'll just have to play something else in the mean time
The latest patch seems not to solve the issues but at least they added a few more debug output in the logfile. New log entries are (in german):

I have the same debug info as hedge37. Crashes started after the first patch of this league. Yesterday after the patch 3.9.2 I crashed after the second pack of monsters. The only way for me to play the game is in windowed fullscreen with multithreading off which results in terrible performance when i encounter high density zones.
Update to this, yes it is still happening. Kills the graphics card completely needing to reboot. This is actually ridiculous and this thread is being ignored...
Same problem with ati new drivers. In my case, deactivating the freesync on the monitor works ok.
