Eh if you buy a bugged/exploited piece of gear in a game like this you run the risk of having it poof, just comes with the territory.

In WoW (back in the day) it was called "clever use of game mechanics"
~ I have selective hearing, and today, you have not been selected.

" basically this. i am playing SSF. i don't even know what people are talking about. whats going on? people just doing some shenanigans to get anointed items? okay. nearly every league has had some type of "exploit" or abuse of some thing where they're like one of the only people in the know and end up making multiple mirrors off of it. i remember there was one thing about ghost busting that did it, umm there was another thing about beyond mobs/spawn that did it, i remember in bestiary people doing it. those that don't think about it first, or don't get to be in the know end up salty and want people to get banned etc. nothing new under the sun. nothing to see here folks. as you were |

All I got out of it was that it involved using skin transfers to somehow get the passives allocated on items that weren't supposed to be able to have them. Rumor has it that GGG is going to try to delete said items. People are claiming to have traded for them for outlandish sums and don't want their items deleted, or want the outrageous sums that they paid returned. My jiffy-pop stock is going through the roof.

" You have to be joking, right? You see nothing wrong in BUYING an exploited item, but you see something wrong in exploiting? And no, it's not different. Buying an item made from an exploit is just as much part of the problem. If there's a demand for exploited item, people will exploit the system to create the supply. Removing the anointments from non-blight uniques should be an easy task - and should've been done a long time ago. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

" " yes and thats prety fair, people can pretend they didnt know what are they buying or whatever, its kinda unfair lose this amount of currency, but its more unfair to use souch item, like i said, i was aware of risk, i also stated in my post that i am fine with deleting all of those items and that is prety much fair... i still do beleve they wuld get better feedback if this didnt happen at first place, but after that happen if they insteed of deleting items, made them accesable to everyone without skin transfers etc... with my gear 50ex is not much currency to invest for the amount of dmg i gain. and like i said "risk it for bisquit" :) i lost 50ex and i wuld risk it again because its item that help my build, i wuld ban people who where abusing this tho, also i wuld take som actions aganst people who trying to sell those items right now when they know that those items gonna get removed, i bought boots but pob said i get about same amount of dps with lab enchant so i sold them, but i told the guy taht item might get removed or somthing, wich adventuly happen. | |
they should just delete the anointments not the item itself.
