and bane of legends and brutal fervour(maybe endless hunger/impact) for RT builds


since overwhelm is base weapon crit that means best suffixes on a wep will be AS/crit multi and accuracy/qual or an elder mod right?

damn. slayer just got proper competitive. very tough 8 points spent here. almost all very good choices.


if raider doesn't get super fucking buffed im going to be pissed.
im talking like 20% more damage and 50% MORE attack speed, at this rate.

I dont have the link but I believe raider is getting shafted yet again until at least 3.8 which will hopefully be a refresher to ranged skills - particular wand skills. Expect it to occupy the space pre 3.7 zerker once did in terms of usage.

oh im definitely expecting that. but raider has basically been in this place for a very long time. its been in the bottom percentile, slightly higher than zerker, but still much longer.

im more getting triggered at just how much attack speed these ascendancies are dishing out. zerker is upwards of 75% increased AND 40% more. while raider's identity has really been based around attack and movement speed more than anyone.


we all know these buffs are pretty insane, but not being tagged melee they will just translate over to ranged builds just as well as they buff melee skills themselves.
lets see what type of buffs melee skills get in the gems themselves....

I used to like Raider and thought it had some place, but now I'm not so sure. Raider kind of needs a new identity altogether because deadeye and pathfinder have movement speed/attack speed in it. I would expect in the near future for this to be on the radar for a big rework.

I use to love Ahn's Heritage with this class being perma buffed onslaught and phased. Was kind of cool but not worth this whole class atm.

Slayer/Berserker looks pretty darn good now. Gladiator will be near the bottom with Raider this league for sure. Honestly though, it's how it is going to be. I don't think "melee" and the classes associated with them will ever take over the top of the charts. Pretty sure we will always have under used melee classes near the bottom.

Slayer is no longer physical specialist. "Cannot take Reflected Physical Damage" should be moved to Gladiator.
