I think this build need more area of damage..... same problem has always for melee builds...

Where is clearspeed? i think its just another bad skill like others melee...

GGG do you really think its enought to put melee builds up like a lot of others casters skillS??!! omg no!

There are only three ways to "fix" melee. First - nerfing every ranged skills to the ground, in such way, that even during regular mapping will be impossible to oneshot even white monsters - aka "goodbye clearspeed meta" or creating something that will behave like winter orb (walking simulator) and giving it the nickname "melee".

Third way is to make "melee characters" simply indestructible and "oneshot proof". In that case, characters could even use these baldesand or whatever, sacrificing clearspeed for 100% survivbility.

Instead, GGG offers something that can and looks nice, but it will be ignored after a few hours from the beginning of the league, when everyone will return to the good old "the faster, the better" + 100 thousand ES.


if melee doesnt have the ability to insta gib entire screens with a single tap of a button while moving at max speed very few are going to bother. worb for example will require a significant nerf to damage, a massive aoe nerf and cast speed nerf for it to even compare to the show cased melee abilities. storm brand/recall, tornado shot, the list goes on of spell/range abilites that clear the screen/screens with almost zero player interaction.

I'm forecasting a league thats once again 30%+ playing worb cause its broken. hold worb button for 1-2 seconds then run for 3 screens or more while obliterating eveything.
How exactly this Blandstorm thing is better than say Lacerate or Cyclone? It's lagging behind even in the trailer where a disabled grandpa plays at 50% of a normal player's speed. Why would I want these whirlwinds flying over already dead enemies?

Now about its interaction with the blood stance. For bleeding to deal any damage today you need:

Malevolence - 50%
HoP - 25%
War Banner - 10%
Vulnerability + Blasphemy - 35% (Impresence is a must have at this point)

All this without any defences. And now we have another reservation. Are you going to fix it with another "archetype" crap, making Glad ascendancy to have zero reservation or something? How about something useful instead?

It smells like trash TBH.

P.S. Sand stance + Flesh and Stone could enable a few Effigon builds at the cost of 35% mana reservation.

thing has to stop, it just has to stop and anyone on the dev team who believes in it needs to be taken out of a position where they are making crucial decisions on these sort of things because the game is a piece of crap now as a result of this line of thinking. We came here because this game wasnt a piece of shit, we stayed because it wasnt a piece of shit and the only reason we keep coming back is the hope that this piece of shit it has become can be salvaged and returned to what we actually loved.

Right now if a game that doesnt believe it has to be a piece of shit to succeed comes along it will wipe poe out, just like poe wiped out diablo 3 when the d3 devs were convinced everyone wants a fucking dogshit game and poe came along and said actually, anyone want to play a good game? We all left in droves, poe became the king of the genre and diablo just fell apart for years until its expansion dropped, it was dead in the water. All down to the fact that people, wait for it, people actually want to play a good game.

Unplayable garbage? Man, you probably have hands growing from your anus or something) Ofcourse it's not top tier skill but shattering steel is pretty viable for everything in the game. Played it in shithesis for about 2-3 weeks, and with just 2 beltimbers it was fun build. But we have different definitions of fun it seems, it's ok, but don't say it's unplayable just because you can't kill 2 screens/sec doing nothing but charging some shit once in 10 sec with it.
