" Missed the point though. it's not about 'slow' 'quick' 'different' or anything like that. As said, lab definitely has a place in the game, the crafting aspect is a nice one, the general reward is also interesting. A specific group of people definitely likes doing it. So yes, it should be kept it. Though, then ask further. A game has an overall 'feel' at its main progression. Hence that progression needs to be steady, straight-forward and intuitive. It means there aren't any hiccups in pacing allowed, otherwise people will feel frustration as reaching a deadlock, those can be avoided, it's a general game-design issue. So, unraveling the lab from the progression itself would be a positive choice, allowing people to run that content at the same time as not frustrating people trying to get into the game. It's a very different style of game-play compared to the other parts of PoE, one which isn't to everyones taste, or rather, one which isn't to the taste of quite a large amount of people. For me personally? I DO like lab, I run it fairly often, still I can accept it not being a good mechanic as-is. GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease. Everything fixed but still broken. |

You can do so many different things in POE today. I think Lab fills specific niche. Its cash for work which nobody wants to do.
If we make that work plasure then cash will wanish. Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem

" I don't disagree with you. But the lab is one of the least problems this game has right now dude. We have more pressing issues right now. |

" You rate fun based on success, others treat it like a video game. I havent failed the lab in a while, but i still dont like it. I hate the lab for one reason, it brought phased boss fights. It also brought things that can hurt us that we cant damage (traps, makes no sense). Physical objects work both ways, if they can touch you, you can touch them. Its just not logical game play. Why is Izaro even training us to be an Emperor, anyways?
I don't really understand the lore of this game that well. |

" Lol, I bet you play a broken build so you never have to actually play any of the content. Traps are the only way to provide the same fair challenge to everyone in an RPG. Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.

" its okay, no one understands it really! most people dont even know the story nothing of value was lost by not knowing it tho kind regars

" The lore of lab doesn't make sense anymore. It kind of made sense when we repeated the acts three times. Now it is just BS. Becoming emperor 3 times through the 10 acts then another time at endgame? Doesn't make sense.Compared to the lore of the rest of the game lab really doesn't fit in. Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!
