welcome to path of recyle theres never anything new here
this time we got a better version of contagion called bane
and a better version of essence drain called soulrend!
come closer and take a look
Continued to incrementally improve the sound, art, effects and environments.

These look amazing to use, but honestly I'm just really impressed with how dynamic the animations are. You're always improving and the change between when I joined and now is unreal.
Yaaaaay, 50% increased damage from a Blight build removed. Next thing would be lowering the gem numbers as well. -.-

EDIT: Initial reaction got the better of me and I am uncomfortable with the language I used. My apologies.

how are you monkeys only complaining. The wording suggests that chaos spells get their dmg improved so they are stronger on their own and wither doesn't become a must have for any chaos build
Bane is looking sexy AF. 3 curses on a 4 link in 1 button press is legit... I care less about that curse styled unique now lol.

Bane is a curse itself so Bane triggers the gloves too lol CURSES EVERYWHERE
Both seems rly smexy, might drop my miner as starter and go this :P Love chaos even doh it often feels kinda slow.

Soulrend is its own skill. It has no synergy with either Essence Drain or Contagion, apart from also being a chaos DoT and so benefiting from the same passive nodes. Contagion doesn't spread it like it does ED. It has implicit pierce and homes in on enemies, so just stack more projectiles for clearing.


Actually, it says it right there in the OP post: Rend leeches ES, Drain leeches Life. While they do not *work* together, their synergy is the double aspected leech. With something that can rapidly cast both spells you'll be getting back twice as much.
Unfortunately, unless you have huge pools of both the amount you'll get back will be pretty low. IMO the whole 'leech' mechanic needs to be un-tied from the underlying stat they're affecting.
Leech should solely be based on the damage done, not the pool it's being applied to. If you can leech 300 points of something, you should get 300 points, not some small percentage of the pool you're leeching to.

Yeah, glancing at occultist and I'm seeing holy *smokes* the Malediction skill coupled with Whispers of Doom notable and Bane in a simple 4 link are going to be utterly mind bogglingly insane, even with modest AOE increases. That's three curses *AND* an AOE DOT with just a single cast... With heavy investment into chaos DOT nodes, that new +1 curse armor and a +1 curse amulet will make Occultist a freight train of damage. Casting contagion and then bane will spread massive amounts of death across the screen and beyond.
Likewise, though much more socket intensive: the Bane Trapper. Just need 2 curses (despair & chains), trap, Bane, multi trap...

the same for reward : we are lazy to make other type of weapons armors so let's make rare items with more mods ...
