Skill Reveals - Soulrend and Bane

So this is a present I'll get for my name day. My first character is pleased :)

I love the idea of Bane, no more orb/brand with curse on hit or blasphemy.

How would Bane work with the 'Trigger a Socketed Spell when you Use a Skill' affix on weapon though? If I have a dagger, say, with Bane linked to Temporal Chains and Enfeeble, would the dagger rotate between casts of Bane and each single curse, or would the linked curses become not castable on their own and therefore the dagger will always cast Bane when triggered?

The changes to Spreading Rot are also welcome. Chaos builds are seriously socket-hungry and personally I think I'll drop the Wither totem for the convenience of a Cast When Damage Taken-Immortal Call; then either go for Allelopathy or - probably a better option - Blight + Contagion + Increased AoE + Efficacy in a '+1 to Level of Socketed AoE Gems' gloves or helmet.

How many stacks of Wither would a Vaal Blight apply, I wonder?

Last but not least, that little ED explosion sounds really, really nice. It won't take away the need for Contagion, but should speed it up considerably.

Soulrend will probably perform better than ED while leveling, but it sounds like it is not spread by Contagion (huge difference there), so for map clearing it'd be interesting to see which is better. Or maybe ED will be better for Trickster, and Soulrend for Occultist.

All in all, I'm excited to see some love for Chaos. I don't get why people would bash the addition of a few options. If you look at any other damage type in the game, there are multiple spells for it, with many possible builds and nuances.

Haven't played any caster chaos build since tri curse essence drain... I might actually give it a shot.
Not for the first build of the league though. That honor goes to *drumroll* self, or, ahem, hand cast spark.
