Time Capsule from PoE Closed Beta -- a classic PoE vs D3 thread circa 2012

Id rather give my $100 bucks to this game than to D3.
(its a 100 in my country currency)

Graphics dont make a game.
Ultima was hellafun, Shadowbane was the funniest to me.

Today I play even a pixel RPG named :
"The Realm of the Mad God"

But OFC I like beautiful graphics.

Never really played the single player Ultima (tried out one), but Ultima Online is really fun.

The saddest part is that I'm posting this from my high school and I agree with this.

(Didn't know other people were build fanatics, I love GW1 AND THE IDEA OF ORIGINAL SKILL RUNES AND EPIC BUILDS)

You think this game is hard? lol. PoE is a great game, especially since it is going to be free to play. But blizzard does not make bad games. I have been a fan since I got hooked on D1. It is good to see that it is easy for people to pass judgements on 5% or less of the game-play that has been shown.

But to each their own.

Well gw1 is basically what diablo 3 will be now, so that's a bit contradictory. Everyone had the same skills, builds were made by selecting from those skills.

You pay for somthing, that you dont own. You can not play the game in offline mode. You depend from blizzard. You can not play when you want where you want. If somthing happens to serves, you can not play, even if you paid for it. That is what he means I think. If somthing happens to blizz (its almost impossible) you can kiss your money goodbye.

Well, I am still looking forward to D3, even if it's just for loyalty and loot, but I must say that I'm just dying to try this game. Tonight starts the stress test weekend, so even if I don't get a beta key I'll get to try it out, though I want a beta key too. But I totally get what you're saying about the Diablo series, if this didn't have something those games don't, I wouldn't be here.
