The edit for D3 is better, but if someone can find a better example for PoE...

@CharanJaydemyr: yeah I guess I took my time, it's been a long time and I can't remember exactly how long it took, but yeah you are level 20 in the desert, for the ascension.

Kodr, PvP in PoE is different design than in d3. In d3 you can fight only in arenas. In PoE with different leagues the game is more open and alive, because you can attack other people, and get their items. You will hunt for first players on ladder, you will need to group with people to survive, and other interesting things (if done right). Thats somthing that d3 does not, and will not have.

D3 and GW2 moved away from PK, and I prefer it that way myself, it's better to avoid griefer.

They moved away, but didn't give you a option. PoE gives you options to choose what type of PvP you like. After all that's one of purpose of leagues.

Meh, he's just defending D3 from blind POE fanboy attacks really. Your comment can be interpreted as a fanboy comment in the same way, and it really adds nothing to this thread whatsoever.

OT: It's perhaps a bit of a shame that D3 no longer has area pvp, but I don't miss it too much.

In the end, the only pvp you did (in D2) was in act 1 near the rogue encampment. In that case, it might as well be in an arena that is balanced for pvp.
Sure, gibbing a questing 'newb' was fun from time to time, but that wasn't very fun for the person who you were gibbing.

Sorry i'm little low on english, but what do you mean by active? Number of players in game? Not posible to kill a player and get his items?
