End-game Sulphite acquisition and costs have been rebalanced. You now find a lot more Sulphite in maps (especially higher maps) but the cost of travel within deep Delves has been increased proportionally also. The primary effect of this is that players are encouraged to play the highest map content that they can.

OKAY DEFINE A LOT MORE.

I just did MESA T11 map, post update with 80%+ quantity, only 1 vein for ~130 sulphite.

Then i did Coves T11 map, only 1 vein and earned ~140 sulphite.

How is this A LOT MORE?

We're gaining like 20% more sulphite, spending more resources to get higher quantity on maps, and it costs a lot more to delve deeper.

Still need to do like 15-20+ maps to cap 5k sulphite.

The fucking intelligence level of people complaining says enough. The update wasnt the sulphite balance yet lmao

All I wanted was a system where the difficulty of the delves was what was limiting people not their ability to farm sulphite. If people think this patch fixes that issue think again. Now ppl will complain about not being able to sustain maps to farm sulphite instead.

I don't understand the point of sulphite other than forcing people to still visit old content.

Maps are still the main content, not old content. Delve is a league mechanic, not expansion or rework of the game. It's suppose to be limited in access because it's something to do on the side. It's very rewarding so of course people want those but it's not there to replace the main game.

you didn't get the memo or do the research cause it WAS billed as "the next poe expansion"! and it's literally the poorest league so far cause other than that expansion, it has no league content whatsoever. so since delve will go straight to core OBVIOUSLY (cause of the work put in) skipping this "league" you won't miss out on anything.

see why a league and an expansion must be two different things Wilson?!?
since I have no hope for significant game design improvements in this game I am officially done with Path of Exile. done for good

I am complaining. I do not want to loose ability to delve because I hate maps. How do you smartly judge my intelligence level based on the one random comment from another person?
Honestly people dont understand what is the real point of balance here !

Not a single negative comment from me over 5 years, even in the bestiary league.

BUT you are doing the same mistake than in bestiary league : NOT ENOUGH BOSS ENCOUNTERS ! So thats the same than playing standard, when you cross only one new boss over 2 month of dedicated play.

275 depths here : one boss encounter. WTF

ITS SO SIMPLE, MORE BOSS ENCOUNTERS WITH LESS DROP RATE TO BALANCE !

The patch isn't live yet ......
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Youre not that smart either. Mapping/Atlas is the core of the game. If you hate the core of the game so much you rather spam leap slam for 30 minutes straight in Quarry you should play something else
Didnt help me.
still.... we need sulphite to Delve , more.
Quarry nerfed is a joke and a slap to the community.
We keep our decision to see us next season GGG.
you may don't care but my friends does.
less people play, more ppl will notice.

This is a repeated bannable offense of another person, and I hope there are moderators who will sanction this as prescribed.

This in your opinion, and I respect it. On the other hand, I believe I should not play something else because I am enjoying this league immensly so far. I love every other aspect of PoE except a chore that a mapping is (chisel, alch, check mods, reroll if something you can't manage, chase everything that moves because you are about to end your final map of a tier, avoid lousy guided balls just because it will bring you better loot, etc, etc...)

I repeat, I do not want to play something else, I want to delve more, and I would like to see sulfite costs removed even if that means any nerf to loot, or even no loot at all except for special encounters.
Anyone knows what is the current sulphite cost of moving one cell at depth 955? The new price is supposed to be 2000. Knowing the current price we could infer how much base sulphite will a T16 map give post patch. (since they are scaling things proportionally)

Hopefully map quantity will then multiply this base quantity, so a 100% quant map could give you 2x sulphite. Or does this sound too much?

Still, indoor non-linear maps (like Torture Chamber) should spawn more sulphite piles on average than linear maps. Cmon GGG, are you guys vaccinated against having comon sense time/reward concepts?
