I was doing it: saving up Delve encounters.

It's nice that you mention it now. But there is one big problem: How should I do it now?!!!

Because of the replace i lost a lot of progress in the Delve. And other people probably even more -.-
If it would be one delve from the beginning it would be no loss.

It would be nice if you announce such things in the patch before. Or atleast 7 days before in main screen of POE. I first read it now. I could have done it the previous days if i had the information.

I find it funny how many people apparently hate mapping, while that was all the endgame you had in this game before this league, so for like 5 years now. makes me wonder: did you up to now do a thing you absolutely HATE for 5 years? or just call it quits after level 80? maybe the latter is really what ggg wants the playerbase to do after all. more different builds --> more chances to sell skill mtx

so you see making you quit when you can't sustain red maps (and now can't delve either) is really part of the design (after all, maybe the next char can sustain maps better or has a better delve seed LOL). it's 100% on purpose so don't expect any changes in that regard.

I for one like mapping, I just don't like dying and losing 10% of my xp, that shit has to go already and be replaced with a % of xp-reward-for-not-dying system instead.
since I have no hope for significant game design improvements in this game I am officially done with Path of Exile. done for good

This, along with the quarry nerf is bullshit. Just leave it alone please. Having to spam maps all day is the biggest thing keeping me from playing more leagues. Even if I have to run quarry senselessly for 40 mins to fill my sulphite it was worth it to get a break from brainlessly doing maps all day every day. If anything I rather they remove sulphite completely and just nerf delves slightly.


pretty sure they already did nerf delves. I used to get a lot of vaal orbs early on, and absolutely none now

GGG please do not cap sulphite gain from map +80% on the T15 and +100% at T16
Let us make map with 170 quantity!!!
Why its so important:
We need a way to invest our time or currency to increase sulphite gain per hour.
I will enjoy the perfect map stack crafting.
The 100% cap is rly stupid. rare map + onslaugh its ~90%
Anyone else getting random crashes during maps? I was running the daily map quest on Volcano and I crashed 3 times within 10 minutes. Never crashed before during my 200 hours of playing.
So 1 Alc T12 Map 50% quant = 142 Sulp

And T12 8 mods Corrupted 120% Quant + 3 Sacrifice + Zana mod = ... 158 Sulp WOW WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! A LOT!

What do you mean by "proportionally"? This better not mean that what previously required 10 Quarries worth of Sulphite would now require 10 T15 maps worth of it.



what it says is that even if you run the (high level) maps now you won't be able to "deep delve" any longer or faster than before (whatever that is)

maybe they should stop releasing patch notes altogether. Or just say something like

"Continued to incrementally improve the sound, art, effects, mechanics of Delve and environments."

PS: I think I'll start working on my poe expansion prediction generator now. doing the whole mock splash page would be even better but probably too much work

OKAY DEFINE A LOT MORE.

I just did MESA T11 map, post update with 80%+ quantity, only 1 vein for ~130 sulphite.

Then i did Coves T11 map, only 1 vein and earned ~140 sulphite.

How is this A LOT MORE?

We're gaining like 20% more sulphite, spending more resources to get higher quantity on maps, and it costs a lot more to delve deeper.

Still need to do like 15-20+ maps to cap 5k sulphite.

Yes, i'm sure the 3.4.2 Hotfix 3, that fixed the instance crash tied to Caustic Arrow was vital in changing the way you gain sulphite from maps.
