So you don't do Any damage until the spores explode?
This isn't a channel skill...its a charge up skill. It doesn't look fun at all; you're charging up an arrow ( wtf was all that talk about a "wide piercing arrow" if it doesn't actually do wide piercing damage? ) ...that does nothing but drop spores in a straight line. That's about as aesthetically interesting as opening a present to find out what you thought was an Xbox was just a cardboard box holding a dozen toothbrushes inside. It's a bow skill, that fires arrows, that doesn't do any archery mechanics at all. You could have just made it a spell that throws out spores that explode....or just gave Lightning Trap a new MTX effect; because that's all this skill is ...a way worse lazy copy of Lighting Trap. A five second windup before doing damage just might not be good enough to make it useful to the majority of the players. It doesn't look like it will be a good map farming build. Just think of all of the extra time taken to kill the monsters in a map. That could add 2 or more minutes to the clear time of a map. Channeling skills that start doing their damage as soon as you press the key down and build up as you are channeling them are better.

" Until now there was no Channeling skill for bows so it wasn´t mentioned yet. But I honestly hope it does not work together, because max charged channeled skills are the strongest skills you can have, but you have the problem to charge it and standing still while doing so. If it would work you would trigger the mirage archer with a stage 1 shot and then run around for 4 sec while the mirage archer is happily shooting around fully charged stage 5 arrows. Let´s assume you have a normal attack 1 shot per sec and wealing 100 damage (equal 100 dps). Meaning a mirage archer with that attack dealing 70-89 damage every 1.6 sec (equals 43.75 - 55.625). Because channeling skills normally deal around (stage 1 damage)*(stage x damage)² when you channel them, with all the other effects of channeling and dot and so on. So even in the calculation above you can deal 218 dps with fully charged stage 5 shot by the mirage archer. That is a really rough calculation, but a mirage archer can deal quit a lot damage when they keep charging for you... |

I don't know, I think I prefer frost bow. A fire channeled bow skill should have been more astonish too.
