Cool... nvm the "TS is better herpa derpa ppl" - i mean those guys would play the most efficient skill, even if it's boring AF and only like 5 % more efficient, over something that's 10x more fun and almost as efficient.

O_o Why are you worried about how other people enjoy their time?

Not worried btw, also why do you care what i (another person) thinks? I'm just saying that GGG shouldn't listen to parrots.

All this "noone will play this skill" etc crap is said by parrots who never make any original builds themselves and just copy/paste the "most popular" build off of forums/poebuilds/streamers and then think that everyone else in the entire game is like that too.
Quit after Legion, rejoined PoE to see what the game's like now in 3.12.

This looks awesome! I like slow & steady builds, and this looks like it will definitely fit into my play style.

It is slow but not steady. Already in Ac4-5 you will just get murdered before you manage to channel up. "steady" is something like ground slam, or big armor Jugg tank or whatever, that kills slow, but is very survivable. This is just shit.

You people realise that attack speed - just like with BF - will increase the speed of the channel? We know shit about what gear they used and what gems so that can easily be just a gem without any support...

Now add Blood Rage, frenzy charges, decent att speed bow, vaal haste, onslaught.... we know shit so stop presuming

When players make a video to demo a skill it's with all of the above doing insane map mods at mach 10. When GGG makes a video to demo a skill it's in story mode and with probably white items.

Exactly my point.

Not to mention we dont know if pods and their projectiles are % or flat dmg... all we know that initial bow dmg is % based.
If we have flat chaos on exploding projectiles - shit will be op with Quill Rain/Storm Cloud/any uber speed bow :D
This skill seems like it's trying to do too much at once? Honestly I was kinda hyped for a charge-up arrow skill, but this one is all over the place. Why are there spore pods? Why is there a delay on the spores when there's already a built-in delay from the charging up? Why is the splash based on extra projectiles when the skill is decidedly a Single Shot?

Maybe make it something like this?

Charged Arrow
Bow, Channeled, Projectile, AOE, Chaos
Channels to build up a powerful piercing arrow, which is released when you stop using the skill. A weaker shockwave fires perpendicular to the flight of the arrow. The longer you channel, the faster the speed of the arrow and the wider the shockwave. Does not benefit from additional projectiles.
Quality: 1% faster channel speed
-------
Deals Percentage of base weapon damage.
60% of Physical converted to Chaos damage.
10% more damage for each stage, up to 10 stages.
10% increased projectile speed for each stage.
10% increased AoE for each stage.
Shockwave deals 75% of main arrow damage.
Target is only hit by the arrow or the shockwave, not both.
-------

Written like this, the skill becomes about the Arrow(the visual core of the skill), doesn't get mired down in weird added effects(Spores from a charged shot?), ties the splash damage to the skill(a shockwave coming off of the arrow), and allows it to be a Simple, Intuitive skill that can be modified to be Fancier through support gems.
Also unless were getting a conversion gem or some strange uniques, 60% chaos conversion feels really bad doing partials always feels bad
I need more info on this withering touch gem.

Hi totem / Trap new Clear skill :D
Channeled skills can't be supported by Trap and traps would theoretically release them at the first stage. Totems could be interesting, yeah.
looks really interesting. different playstyles for bow chaos skills. hope poison comes back and hope pathfinder changes dont ruin pf. sounds like it will be a new class of poison damage conversion with on flask effects or something lol.
rawrawr
Point blank.
nice, visuals are awsome. Like the slow motion previews. Channeled skills are not my favourite although they do have potential for high damage. Great that you still manage to create unique looking and feeeling skills.
