" I miss double corruptions, I haven't decided if I am going to take this character to a new level on standard. I might even invest in getting legacy items... we will see! |

" Well the build you linked was a Zerphi's flask build, meaning it is about out-regening basically all damage. Those builds, typically, are about just standing there and taking hits while holding down right click and keeping up flasks at all times. This build (Occult Arc) would likely do quite a bit more damage, but you still need to follow mechanics. If you want to just stand in stuff and hold down a button, this build probably isn't for you. That said, this is the most fun build I have played to date. |

" Zerphy's to me feels a bit like a gimmicky build tbh. It abuses Zerphis (which is a flask) that lets you regenerate a multiple of the mana you spent recently as life. You then proceed to make Manacost as expensive as you can (fevered minds, Indigon etc) to get crazy liferegen; essentially making you immortal to anything but things that one-shot you. Now, all that would be not that bad - but what I dislike about it is that it doesnt feel like a *build* and more like an *One Item Abuse* Character-Thing. It doesnt care about its other itemslots - that indigon is an ES item, it doesnt concern itself with getting damage anywhere really (and you dont need to deal a lot of damage if you never die - eventually stuff gets killed). There is no clever buffs going, no on-hit mechanic, no leech, no %Life based regen nothing. Also no crit or anything other interesting. The only reason it is a Pathfinder is to get the flask-recharge from its ascendancy so it can abuse Zerphy and it doesnt run out of it. There is nothing in the build that would otherwise make you think of a ranger or a bow character or anything, really. Take Zerphis out, or the flask recharge out of the asendency and the entire build collapses since it imo never was really a build. Zerphis already got nerfed and will probs get nerfed again (or pathfinders) so be aware of that. The 'immortal' aspect is another abuse of the pathfinder ascendency. I already touched upon that the Pathfinder gets basically endless Flask uses? Well, what this build also does is it stacks 'physical damage taken as XYZ element' and runs a bunch of flasks that give +% to max resistances to temporaily get up to 100% of that element. So its pretty much immune to damage. (only some damagetypes like phys degen kill the build then.) This imo is kinda abusive of flasks who are designed to be short but strong temporary buffs and makes use of them semi-permanently. That those Pathfinder/Zerphi Builds are almost double the depth in delve then any other build (and are only kinda hindered by sulphit farming and sheer boredom)is kinda telling. So no doubt this is strong. I personally find it incredibly boring both from a concept/lore PoV - and in terms of playstyle. I would also by kinda anxious about getting bricked with the next update. This stuff has all the hallmarks of all the builds that ever got the nerfbat. |

So 1 poeets pen and 1 vaal orb this happened :D How good it is on this build?Literally vaaled my poets pen :)
I guess this go into sale. I think i decided to go arc poet it isn't abusing 1 flask what allready costs tons and seems lot of fun :) alltough i am litle worried as i don't have greatest experience how this all works out xD .I am just a guy who got lucky in this league crafting 2 op statsticks and got nice budget. And the build creator seems to give allways advice what is huge bonus for me :). For many it isn't important but for me is that build holds some value on standard allso this seems to doit allso :) As i andurstand this build uses 2 sets of pens 1 for map clear and second for bossing? So i guess fastest way to lvl if u got currency is allso from lvl 12 whit poets arc equipped and lightning warp? Last edited by Maestery#5953 on Nov 7, 2018, 3:08:54 PM

" Yeah, pretty much. From lv 12 onwards you can basically play this build. It should level fairly fast. Feel free to ask more questions when you stumble over stuff. I am going to bed soon but others should be here to answer your questions. :) If you are new to LowLife Builds or Builds that reserve a lot of mana/life you might stumble over stuff. ES builds in general take a bit of getting used to as well. They tend to be fairly strong though once you get it down. |

I've got a question. Why is it faster to "clic-clic" Lightning Warp rather than "hold the clic". Shouldn't the CD be 250ms with Poet Pen if you hold it? I always found it's faster to spam clic Lightning Warp rather than hold the clic on it.

" Mostly because lightning warp is hecking weird. The more techincal explanation is that the duration of lightning warp has a lot of weird modifiers that affect it. Movementspeed for example makes you cast it faster/the duration shorter. (but that increase is not related to the distance you port at all - ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) If you hold down your button it basically 'casts' every 250ms. But the Teleport takes longer then that. Lets say it takes 1100ms to teleport. So if you hold down your button to cast it you have to wait 1250ms till it casts again. 4x250ms is 1000ms - just barely not enough - and the next attack will happen at the 1250ms timestamp - potentially loosing 150ms. This could be one reason. But mostly I got no idea. It is really weird. Last edited by Cyrix1337#4098 on Nov 8, 2018, 8:08:25 PM
