If you don't like capturing dead beasts then just don't use it, it's that simple. The nets should be in for the people that would like to use them. I'm getting tired of getting rare beasts low to have them die as I try to throw the net at them and just feeling frustrated at the whole system.
Well, I really have to stop myself from going ham on parts of the community here.

I also don't appreciate polls like this one.

Don't get me wrong, your community interaction and management is indeed great.

Still, this is going a bit too far imho.
the answer is yes , unless we can stop our minion to kill or not to kill button :)

As animal lover, I say GGG should have some educational responsibility beside pure entertainment. I would love to see if GGG add some Chris Wilson animal, I will roll laughing when I will see him shakes in his own net and then fight him in the Blood Altar to make some nice bow from his bones.

Complains about too much pure entertainment.
Suggests Chris Wilson doll to beat up in-game.

Right... moving on.
Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
Lay your portal gem to rest, don't you die no more.

'Cause it's a bitter sweet symphony this league.
Try to make maps meet, you're a slave to the meta, then you leave.
all who say NO just hate summon and totem builds.

this league really sucks, pz remove ALL nets and allow us to capture dead beasts.
worst league ever ...
I'm upset at how bad capture mechanics are for group play. The beast monsters while in a group are usually skipped completely. Even if the group manages to get get the beast to low hp only the one person throwing the net gets the capture. Makes me feel the group is against each other, not a team.
I say very much yes, not because I'm having a problem with totems, or off-screen kills, or anything else most of the elitist whiners are complaining about. I have a much more technical, less "lack of discipline" reason: lag.

Long story short, I have FPS issues. Internet is fine, but my potato pc has issues with large groups of mobs on screen throwing lots of abilities and particle effects around. Guess what most of these capturable beasts usually are surrounded by? Packs of mobs. Guess what they and their posse use on the reg? Lots of flashy crap. This has gotten me killed more than it should have so far, and on top of that it's also contributed to my computer hanging during the fight, and having the computer recover (sometimes) only to find out that it didn't input my attack once like I'd thought, more like 4-5 times. This quite often leads to the beast dying before I can net it. Netting it before engaging won't help, due to the aforementioned graphical hangups when packs come stampeding on-screen. Hell, make that when those mobs are just offscreen.

I'm not saying make one net that caps dead beasts of any level for only 1 Wis scroll — that would be ridiculous. What I am saying is that making various levels of nets that can be used to basically trap the mob's soul and drag your dead quarry back to the menagerie would be very helpful.

TL;DR Nets for dead mobs would help for people like me that play with lower-end computers that experience lag and problematic graphical slowdowns. Also, if you have such a huge problem with nets for dead beasts or even just nets in general...maybe just stop complaining and don't use them? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

P.S.

For anyone thinking or saying "buy a better computer" or "git gud scrub"...please. It isn't productive, smart, original, or funny. So just stop.
When can I expect a paycheck from GGG for helping you guys make the decisions?

Seriously, maybe you should have your paid developers who made the game we're all here for decide instead of having the average player who hasn't left act 2 yet tell you how to make your game.

Voted no. I want mechanics that force me to adapt my tactics and play in new ways. This will force clearspeed builds to sacrifice a socket for a less damaging skill, thus mixing up gameplay. That's what leagues should do, and it's something this game desperately needs. It's a decent, if insufficient counter to the clearspeed meta.

That said, as a compromise to the compromise, there could be added nets that give targeted monsters a huge resistance to all damage taken. It would be rarer, but provide a very safe option for glass cannon builds.
The most efficient way to play would still be to play smartly and differently, though.

Unfortunately in Bestiary league "playing smartly and differently" is another way of saying "don't play certain builds if you want to be a more effective beast hunter".

That is not an inclusive way to design a league and I suspect is the reason GGG are actually putting this out to the community for a vote with the specific mention of hoping to allay minion and totem player troubles.

I don't think every build SHOULD be able to be an effective beast catcher. Just like not every build is an effective mapper and not every build is an effective boss killer. That's kind of the draw of the beast thing to me is that it's another thing to build around.

Not sure you're arguing for the balance of hunting to be made more equivalent to all builds but the inclusivity comment made me go that direction in my head.

I guess that is my arguement...

I just feel like it's not good design if engagement with the league mechanic cannot be enjoyed if your build happens to consist of auto-attack style skills. No other league has encouraged players to not use particular skills like Bestiary has (only badly designed skills), and this does not compliment GGG's overarching desire for build diversity.

I was full minion build last league and could not participate AT ALL in 80% of the Vorici missions. Since Bestiary is pretty much one big Vorici low-life mission, I can imagine the frustration and desire for change of capturing mechanics they would be feeling.
