I playing with totem build and this is annoying when totems kills everything in his path to fast, i can't catch beasts. But i vote NO. If nets will catch dead beasts this league will lost all interesting. Bu still SOMETHING SHOULD BE CHANGE.

There should have been two no options, No and leave it as it, No and find a different fix.
This can be solved in a way that fixes most of the "yes" peoples problems without adding a net that essentially breaks the league. |

Definitely voted for "No". Being able to capture a beast by killing it while it's under the net is satisfying, no need to make the hunt easier.

No. However good Einhar is with necromancy, I feel like adding nets for capturing dead beasts is a lazy solution to somewhat minor problem. It's not hard to capture yellow or red monsters, due to how much health they have compared to normal counterparts. The system still has a room for improvements, definitely, but that in my opinion is not one of them.

well, I got an idea that you can add a new state which is called “knockdown” for beasts. When you hit a beast to 0 hp it will get into that state for several seconds (you can adjust it with feedback) for you to capture. Beasts under this state can’t move or attack, so we can capture knockdown beasts during these seconds, if we don’t want to capture it, we can just go away cuz the loot of the beast has dropped at the time its hp down to zero. If we are failed in this capture, it will restore some hp and be stronger, and once it is knockdown again we can just capture it again. This capture can be try many times until success.

no.. it would make the league mechanics meaningless.. you are not hunting anymore, just collecting drops. this would kill the league . and thats me saying this while playing RF so capturing is very hard for me atm.

You can stop AND slow your DPS down, just not the lazy, me smash, way. You are trying to suggest that you can't adapt your playstyle, maybe try standard league then, you will fail less :) |

It seems weird to try to catch a dead beast and then to try to fight it in the Arena...
If it is possible, then it should also be possible to fight the same beasts again and again in the Arena: indeed, even dead, they can be reanimated to be summoned thanks to the Blood Altar. However, I understand how it can be easier to catch beasts with this solution: it may be difficult to target the right beast when we're overwhelmed. --> maybe the net should have an Area of Effect. Thank you to ask to the players what they want! As far as I'm concerned, I would like to have... more good uniques! :) |
