And fighting gods, walking statues, and an ancient queen with two pairs of knockers isn't "ridiculous"?

Seems like the 'Yes but rare' option is going to win out. Setting aside the implications of this on game design and pandering to the community, I really hope that an appropriate rarity will also be considered. Anything less than drop only and extremely rare (like divine or exalt) will mean either it'll be so common that it'll make other nets redundant or turn out like sextants where the kb meta clearers will get all the advantage and the casuals or people who like to play slow will lose out again. They must be rare enough that using them for all your red captures is severely de-incentivised.

i guess this is my last day of this league.

I've often found that people claiming to leave never really do. Same thing happens when voters claim they'll leave a country if a certain candidate wins the election for Presidency. So funny. We will of course see you with many more challenges completed at a later date, lol.

GJ ruining a new idea because you refuse to have less than 7-figure clear DPS, refuse to look at your minimap before putting down totems, are generally refuse to do anything that remotely resembles complex thought.

Whenever an argument breaks down for some people, they resort to mockery and insults.

This can be very easily turned the other way around :) All of those complaining about "not being able to play because it's too difficult to catch things with too much dps" would never leave either. Let's leave the league the way it is then!

As for the other guy, mockery or not - he has a point. There's 101 ways to capture the beasts. If people don't do it - it's their own choice, or their own lack of imagination. Saying they're too stupid to do so or not capable of complex enough thought to figure one of those 101 ways out - may be a bit too harsh. Doesn't make it wrong though.

There may be a difference between "l2p, if you suck you don't catch anything" vs "please, try to figure out a way to just make your build work, or roll another character for beast catching, both viable options". Chose whichever appeals to you more.

Also ppl saying "my 5 totems kill too fast" should maybe think twice before brainlessly spamming 5 totems. The BESTIARY BEAST ICONS on the map are there for a reason, just, well, start thinking.
as a crit miner, I approved dead nets, but with increased rarity, probably as rare as GCP, but still be able to obtained by selling 3 T1 net
I think the concept of capturing beast is great for non-crit self-casting char, but sometimes it's impossible for minion/crit char due to how volatile the damage output or targetting system
No from me.
why no option for "i dont care"
I would say No. Don't do that.

Just buff the life pool of the mobs so they don't die instantly. Maybe increase it by 3 or 4 times bigger. Heck, some of the mobs, you can raise it by 10 fold. Just increase their drop rate to compensate so the speed meta elitist don't start crying and whining in the forum.

And add an item or items that greatly weakens them, but it takes a few second for it to take effect, an area effect much like traps. This may come in the form of greatly reducing their defenses, removing regeneration, makes them immobile, et c.

Them having a bigger life pool would prevent players with high damage output to accidentally killing them and missing the chance to capture.

The items that affects them would help players that do not have the damage output to kill them or it's too dangerous for them.

It gives you a sense of actually hunting them.
The item having duration, delay and area of effect would make the player plan out where to put them, when to put them and who to use it on.

Just like real hunting, you have to lay down traps and weaken the target to capture them.

Next up: Incessant crying about the rarity and lack of necro trap drops. Perfect way for GGG to pander to the yes people while effectively going the no route.

WTS: Shovel and Bucket, 5ex.

I really cant provide valued opinion because im farming OG so i never went from Twilight Strand and teher You just cannot find nets. So i really dunno, but i chose "Yes but more rare". Juzt in case.

It should be some sorto of limited option for special occasions but not as basic mechanics.

You will be sorry when you get out and realize what a joke the league has become, in part thanks to your vote.

The best "more" modifier in the game should always remain "more challenge".

I probably wont. There are not challanges rewards i really wants and if mechanic of capturing will make me irritated i will just skip it.

I do agree with this, but end-game frostbolt crit totem might kill a yellow beast offscreen and you can't really control it, since there's no "disable totem" skill and frostbolt has ridiculous range
