I vote yes, but make them rare(not exalt rare but more divine/regal rare)
Having read a few of the "no" post, I think some people just dont grasp how powerful a build can become especially in a 3-month league. For example just last league with abyss jewels and in combination with shaper/elder items, cleave/reave became extremely powerful to the point with well rounded gear u could pretty much one shot everything in game. Stopping to capture creatures isnt always a good thing because a lot of build require you to kill or keep moving to survive, sure at early levels its not so hard but try to imagine trying to capture a beast on a tier 12+ shaped/elder map in the middle of an abyss or breach. Final Thought, instead of capturing a dead beast, make it so the enter some sort of "downed" state for a few seconds so that way players dont have to hesitate or make a choice when designing their characters. |

Instead Making crap Net Like this better make Rare and Unique Nets For example: Net when you catch mob will Increase Rarity of quantitty of items drop from that mosnter Net which clone caughted mosnter and give you additional copy Net which give Beast Mods when caughted (Like headhunter ) Net which caught monster when he is FULL HP or you can caught monster with high hp instead dead monsters ? There is easy way to make over 100 uniqe and fun Nets just go ON and upgrade that League IGN KotsaPL

I would recommend if the outcome ends up just barely in the 50% range to at least wait a few weeks before making changes and then take the temperature of the league again.

" You can solve this for yourself by not using the nets, a sort of SSF league of your own. This is certainly a viable road to take, especially if you consider thinking through a fight to be of the highest value. Many builds are definitely designed to avoid both complex thought and complex play. That's the whole point of them, mass slaughter as quickly as possible. There are very few builds or even skill gems that guarantee you'll have control over all of your DPS. In many cases, you'd have to strip away your auras, your heralds, your support gems, reflect on your armor, your DOT skills, your minions and so on. That seems like getting it backwards, sort of like the silliness players employ in Diablo 3 to clear Master Set Dungeons, where you do everything but what your set is designed to do. Can't believe around 50% of the voters think that killing mobs, then resurrecting them with a magical net to imprision them in your zoo, and then kill them again on the alter is a good idea for the game.
It's not a matter of morality or animal cruelty, I don't care for that stuff. It's just that it's ridiculous. Can't you see it? If this League was announced the 1st of april people would have thought it was an april's fools joke. And the situation is going to get even worse with these dead beasts nets. i'm glad that the majority of players are for NO dead nets. If someone's want eazy mode plz go play Diablo and leave hardcore game for PoE players, don't disturb our game feeling here. I hope the GGG can see this also.

Maybe as in "no highest tiers possible" for "captured" dead beasts. This whole conversion is really a joke. And this on the 4th day of the league where most of the players aren't mapping at all because they're wasting their time here with whining and complaining about the "mean mean" Wraeclast and the "mean mean" beasts which don't want to be captured. Well, if shoot with a big cannon there's nothing to capture anymore and that's the point. Just start to Play the game as it's meant to be: Versatile. Not only press down one or two buttons all the time. An if that's not your Cup of tea, well then move on and Play some casual Pokemon shit. Seriously... |

" There is no argument for this. It's literally people not willing to pay attention and wanting to stick to their one-button-to-win ways. The 3-second stun rule fixes everything that was wrong on release. I could even live with a bit of auto-targetting for the nets, in situations where small rares are drowning in adds for example. Capturing dead beasts has no good reason to be possible. The mechanics that made this league unique are being made obsolete withing 3 DAYS OF THE LEAGUE BEGINNING, because of mechanically poor players. Tell me, if you can capture dead beasts, what is the point of ever capturing live ones now? Net rarity? Define rare. Exalt rare? Alch rare? If it would be exalt rare, I'd be fine with it perhaps. But then people will start to bitch about the rarity, and since GGG is about to give in once, they'll give in again and make them less rare. Effectively putting into practice the "Yes, common" result. Find me a good reason anybody needs to play with the mechanics as intended now, I'll wait. Would anybody like some... POUNDCAKE?

I'm doing a flameblast totem build this league, for the first time ever, and I'm loving it. I wish I could have done a totem build sooner.
Unfortunately, with this new league, it's starting to get harder and harder to capture beasts because my totems attack mobs automatically and I can't make them stop so I can have time to throw a net at the mob. Sometimes I can do it, sometimes it's impossible because some of the rares are so squishy that they die so fast, this happens a lot with yellow beasts rares but the red rares, so far no. I'm afraid this is going to get worse the more levels and stronger I get and I shouldn't be punished because of the build I'm running. And for the people who don't want this, why? You're not forced to use these nets. They are not a necessity unless you are doing a totem build or a build where you cannot control your damage or stop it altogether in order to be able to throw a net. Looking at the votes it seems like these nets won't happen though. Pretty sad. fph ~ Orbs work in real life. I exchanged my ex for a lot of regrets.
