Hardcore and why you should play / try it

i would love to try hc.

but i have two children and a wife.

too much disturbation.

I always looked at hardcore mode but i will never do it until the game hits the proper release day. Why? The lag issues and damnable bugs all around do not warrant me a good time and i get furiously angry when i die because of things that are out of my control.

The only requirement for HC build are defense and health nods. Also high defense gears. SC you don't need it as much as HC.

@milkychipz - Read Post I wrote what is the fun about HC. And well if someone is pissed he is pissed. I have some days where I am fine but I don't want to talk with friends, don't want to go out, just want to chill, watch family guy and be for myself.


@Tiguidou - I dont have an SSD - didnt ever die to loading. Solo or Group? Because I never used my tp back to a map and mobs where around. And you dont need to spend 1500$ Oo. Where thus this number come from. But this is another topic. Teaching people how to set up a PC by them self so that they don't buy shitty complete PC´s.

It was the first time it happened to me, I dont have any remembering of this happening to me with 2 lvl 65+ sc chars so I was really tping anywhere in HC as I thought I was having a correct load time. This time it was in a fellshrine run next to 3 blue golems in a random instance so... it must have been fast. And im still having the hdd of a 2000$ machine from 2011, wasnt enought.

But even with a 2000$ machine freshly buyed you will get 10 fps in groups, and who knows, you might even die in a loading because its a beta.

Disable Shadows and Post Processing under video options. It will solve most of the problems that people are having like low FPS and overheating/crashing.

When I'm playing HC my real concern is crashing. Game crashing in the middle of a boss or blue mob fight are pretty bad. There top priority should be fixing the overheating and crashing IMO.

solution:

wait til wife and kids are asleep, game til 5AM.
(my brother's method, only available Fri/Sat)

alternatively, cook dinner every night of the week, play while wife eats, continue to play until she interrupts, remind her who made dinner.

Have to see what happens when my gtx 580 comes back. Not with a stupid 25 bugs 5450HD...I share your fps :)

Are their real crashings going out because graphic cards overheating like stupid? Like SC2 killed a lot of cards?

Theres a lot of reasons behind all these crash and I feel like GGG is not having an easy time finding them. I significally lowered the number of crash by fixing something in the target of the directory or whatever that was causing problems with the sound card this time. Try it, you might crash really less often if it was causing problems.

Honestly I am still having TONS of client crashes but no more BSOD.
